"G...Guahh! Get off o...f me! L...Lorr...aine..." James desperately trying to scape from the grasp of Peter's hand.
Due to the strong grip that Peter possessed, Lorraine fainted. James on the other hand, tries his best to get away from him.
Slam! ~
"Keughh!"
Peter throws James into the ground and threw Lorraine after him.
"We're just observing and didn't mean anything harm. But... But you attacked us out of nowhere. We're trying to avoid fighting as much as possible but you made me do it."
Peter's tone intensifies as he speaks every word that he's saying giving James a goosebumps.
"I'll make you regret it. "
"Don't! Don't come over here!"
Peter approach James and choked him until he's about to pass out but Chester interfere.
"Woah, bud! Let go of his neck." He said and asked him to let go of him.
Cough~ Cough~
James almost passed out because of Peter's unbelievably strong grip but thanks to his leader he got out.
Crack~ "Well i guess... words are meaningless, huh." Chester cracked his neck and fist as he proceed to attack Peter.
"You underestimate us. It is true courage, or a mere recklessness?"
Chester seems like he's looking down on Peter. He's kinda pissed and acknowledged him at the same time.
"Out of respect of those guts of yours, I'll take you up on your challenge. Don't regret it afterwards."
Chester got to his position to attack him with the intent of ending their battle in an instant.
"Cheetah's Hunting Mechanism: Overdrive! Huah!"
"Tch!"
Chester drastically increases his speed and attack. Peter is having a hard time to keep up with his speed and strength.
The only thing he can do was to defend himself with his hand. He hardened his scale to avoid being hit fatally.
Keugh! "It's getting hard to keep up! I'm getting cornered, at this rate I'll lose!"
After getting a chance, Peter leap back to get in his position to counter attack. Chester immediately react and chase him.
"Hah! You think I'll let you go?"
"Annoying bastard!"
Chester continuously attack Peter he's not giving him any time to rest nor to counterattack.
"What's wrong? What's wrong?! Having a hard time to keep up?" HAHAHA-
"Tsk! S... Shut up!" Peter annoyed at him and his situation.
"Cheetah's Hunting Mechanism: Crushing Fang!"
When Chester's about to attack Peter saw through it and immediately block his attack with his arm with hardened claw.
Instead of tearing off Peter's hand, Chester's fangs got stuck and he can't pull it out giving a chance to Peter to counterattack.
Peter grabbed his hand, trying to crush his bones.
"N...No way!"
"Uaghhh! Horned Anaconda's Hunting Mechanism: Coil Slam!" Peter finally connected his attack to Chester after all of this humiliation.
"Uwah!"
Chester got slammed really hard resulting his hybrid power to wore off.
James saw everything but can't do anything to help his leader.
"I... I can't believe this! Chester got slammed?! How?!"
Chloe and Arvin also saw this unbelievably counter attack from Peter it brings them a certain victory.
Chester got up with blood running down from his head. He stared at him fiercely planning to attack him again and again until he won.
Chester barely able to stand still. "Keugh– Y... You think I've lost? Take this! Cheetah's Hunting Mechanism: Final Chase!"
"H- Huh? What's with him?"
After he activates his hybrid technique, Chester attack, speed, and durability drastically increased. Stronger than before Chester was able to gain his posture. He prepared to attack Peter again but when he's looking for him Peter's gone and nowhere to be found. Until...
Peter suddenly appeared at his back. Due to sudden attack and Peter's ability to conceal his presence, Chester didn't noticed his attack and fell right through it.
"Uagh! Wh- What?!"
"It's over." Peter said while looking at him... couldn't do anything.
"Horned Anaconda's Hunting Mechanism: Beast Choke!"
After a tough battle–
Chester fainted and James surrendered their points to them. They possessed 715 points, enough for Peter's team to passed the first round of the exam.
"I... I get it! Take it all! We've lost..."
Peter's attitude changed from being undecided to a reasonable person who puts others safety over his own.
Chloe and Arvin are fine, they are hiding behind a huge tree. Chloe's getting okay. Their first fight with other examiners and their first win.
-"Peter!"
-"You did it!"
They are all happy to see that Peter won on a tough battle that they thought they're have no chance at all.
A battle that taught them that there's always a strong person out there who could easily defeat them with ease.
"I got their points." Peter showed the points he acquired from them.
"W... Woah! That means... we acquired 1000 points?!" Arvin said in shock and joy, he couldn't believe on what he's witnessing right now.
"Um, 440 points plus 715 points that's a total of... 1115 points!" Chloe couldn't believe it. They are all passed after a long and tough hunt.
Peter tapped her shoulder. "Let's go to the instructors and let's deliver them our points."
Peter just smiled at them but deep inside he's just shocked as them. He couldn't believe that his hybrid animal possessed that kind of power.
"That monster snake... was he always this strong? I thought his power was restricted because I couldn't control it all. But! I need to do it so that I can protect anyone who is close to me from danger."

"Ohh, if you look at this! You're the 6th team to passed this exam. Not only that you have the highest points out of all the 1st round passers."

Instructor Jerwin and other instructors congratulates them for their splendid effort for passing this tough 1st round of the practical exam. Proving their worth on proceeding to the next round of the exam the 'race'.
"You're done here, please go to your dorm first."
"Um dormm... But we don't have any." Peter said in curiosity.
"Oh, that's right. The passers team are all will be given a dorm. Which means you and your teammates will stay at the same room. "
Instructor Jerwin explains them the rules and policy of the dorm and a little bit of trivia of their dorm.
"I see. Alright thank you, we appreciate your hospitality." Peter said and smiled.
He and his teammates starts to walk to their dorm.
"Hah... I'm beat. I will take a bath first." Arvin said on whining.
"Let's just eat first, everyone!" Chloe enthusiastically said to them.
"... " Peter just nod and didn't say anything. It appears that he's thinking about something.
