A year had past from the betrayal, it was edged in the front of his mind. Driving him to pushing further then ever, making his house in a rural town away from the cities training himself and cultivating his energy during the process.
Walking into a small convenient store, the owner smiled "welcome back James how was the fishing trip?"
James smiled saying "it was good, cuaght a metre bass. Couldn't believe it at first but was marvellous"
Ring ring.
The owners phone went off "hello darling'
"You need to come home something has happened" the wife was in tears while speaking."
He hung up straight away closing the store, James walked with him side by side "James you should stay here it's a family matter"
James wanted to respect his word but couldn't help himself "I want to come with, let me repay you with this, I wouldn't of been able to survive at first without you"
They went to a small house, looking for his wife "Helena, I'm home where are you?"
"In the kitchen Owen"
She was crying profusely "it's Matt and delphine, they were transported to the hospital they were injured by some thugs"
Upon hearing the news, James and Owen went to the hospital. To see Matt and Delphine, the hospital was only a block away from their house didn't take long before arriving at the scene.
Two police officers stood in the room looking at the twins, James took a look at them both lying in separate beds his heart skipped a beat seeing her "Owen is that your duaghter?"
James had recognised her from previous encounters they grew close within the year he'd been there. James reached her bed in a flash "you know her?" Owen pondered the thought.
"W-we hung out alot, but she never mentioned her family in our convos was something we agreed on we spoke about other things, I will personally get justice"
A police officer chimed in "I'm not to sure what you know but we have an update about these two they got into a heated fight and then got hit by a car"
James shook his head "your wrong, Deliphine wouldn't do anything like that unless she was provoked which was hard to do"
"James is right, she never got into a heated argue especially with her own brother" Owen fullheartedly agreed
James couldn't hold back anymore "I can help your kids Owen it will give them a faster recovery time too"
"Please if you can help them, do it" tears rolled down his cheeks.
"Please step out of the room for a while."
Owen stepped out with the police officers and spoke to them before they left, hours went by fast Owen couldn't wait any longer rushing into the hospital room, seeing James meditating beside the window and his kids still laying still.
"Its done, now we'll have to wait" James told him calmly.
Owen passed out in a armchair waking up by nurses saying "they came in just yesterday they look completely fine. How did this happen over night"
"D-Dad, i am sorry. I failed to protect Matt" sobbing with every word.
Joyfully speaking "you both are fine now, that's the main thing"
James was still meditating near the window as the trio were having a moment, deliphine cuaght a climate of James out of her eye "James what are you doing here?"
"He came here with me, and helped you both make a full recovery"
"D-dad, how did he know I was here, or I was your daughter?"
"Deli, he came here becuase you are my duaghter. We were talking when I got the call and then only found out the connection between us, why is something wrong?" Asking worryingly.
She smiled her heart was calling for him "nothing is wrong, I didn't realize you two were so close" having a small smile on her face looking at the back of him. He suddenly stood up placing a ring on his "come to my place in a couple of days, I'll have a suprise waiting you all" James left as he finished speaking.
"That was rude of him, not even giving you a look or check up on you" Owen huffed away
"Dad that's how he is, but he does care. I just know it" both the siblings were discharged from the hospital, Matt didn't speak a single word about what happened.
"Dad what did he do to us? I feel alot more energetic and stronger with in" Matt asked moving his hands in a circular motion.
Their mum and dad couldn't leave them alone after the incident, Deliphine was quite restless throughout the night. Dawn crept in quicker then she realised, "dammit didn't even sleep"
Tidying herself up before heading out of her room, to her suprise everyone else was awake at the same time.
