James was sparring in his backyard with a couple of men, having another group of 6 men kneeling down not daring to look at James directly. Sweat dripped down from everyone as the sun moved upon them.
Hours went by as the sparring continued with no hint of James willing to stop, not sweating a single drop of sweat. "Is he even human?" A man said softly
Owen and his family walked around to the back where they all were present. The men kneeling down saw Deliphine and Matt walking up to James, shaking out of their impending doom. They were the ones that beat them up just days ago.
"How do they know him?" Wondering to themselves.
Deliphine and Matt stopped in their spot as they saw the men "James why are they here?"
James spoke softly but his tone was fierce "for the past year, you father has taken care of me. So now I have found the men who assaulted you both, yet I want to let you know the technique I used to get you two to recover quickly has improved your body being faster, stronger and sharper reflexes. I want to offer Deliphine and Matt to come with me back to the city after training with me to sharpen there newly found skills. And the second part is these men are the ones that hurt you both, either I can disregard them or they can work as your own men but the choice is up to you."
The choice was incredibly hard to make for anyone under any circumstances.
"W-what is going on James?" Owen muttered
Ja.es gave him a quick smile "well, I'm from the city couldn't stay there until I was strong enough to reclaim what was mine, while punishing those who betrayed me"
"Dad, I'm going to accept his offer, with the money that I earn our family will thrive for many years" Deliphine stood firm believing in James.
"Deli, we don't even know who he is"
Deliphine was still determined to work with James "he has shown what type of man he is countless of times, I trust him"
Was unsure why Owen left well enough alone that day, Matt also stayed behind with James and Deliphine. Having a feeling that he shouldn't let this opportunity slip through their fingers, Vincent and James spent countless hours training them and teaching them.
From fighting together and fighting one on one, while giving them guidance about the city. James wanted to be prepared for anything when he returned there, for the most part their were only a couple people he could trust dory was at the top of the list.
The twins slept as much as James did which had only been for a couple of hours, days went past in a blink. The bond between them formed they all trusted each other more and more with each passing day.
Vincent saw the auras of the trio making him shiver briefly "they are in sync"
Owen came to visit them from time to time, but couldn't bring himself to stay for too long. The group of men that beaten Deliphine and Matt up, remained kneeled for those days until they decided what they wanted to do.
matt walked up to them having Deliphine follow closely behind him "who was the one that planned for us to get injured?" He spoke just like James, in a low voice but loud making his question seem more like a demand.
Vincent walked up to the side of James "everything is prepared"
Seeing how James was fixated on the twins he kept it brief "Sir there is an development"
James glared at him coldly, his body told him to run away at the stare "Julian has still yet to respond to your request, and the city isn't like how we left it."
The twins beat the leader of the 6 men to a pulp and having the others work underneath them both, within the few days of vigorous training they had become more ruthless towards anyone that they came across, they turned around to see James throwing a chair across the room.
Vincent walked over to the twins bowing politely "I am Vincent" standing back up straight "Matt and Deliphine, you both came a long way in your training." He pulled out two bank cards and two small boxes.
"These cards have money on it, your pay since you both work for Mr Jefferson now. And these boxes contain an object in them that signify your position from today onwards."
They both opened the box seeing a gold watch with a loin head logo "what does a gold watch mean?"
"So far there's only been three of those designs ever made, Mr Jefferson has a Supreme red watch signally he is the boss, while you two have gold meaning you two are his most trusted men and woman by his side. If you send an order to anyone that works under him they will have to follow your order"
