My father always told me that humans are smart. However, meeting humans that appeared here, I can't help but see them as some dogs in a heat.

Just taking a glance of my appearance, those foolish humans immediately drool over me. Compared to males in our elven kingdom, women are the ones who lust for men.

Women are naturally stronger than men here if I were to compare females of humans to ours. We are the exact definition of reverse.

Opposite perhaps.

Because females in the elven kingdom are the ones who act as men.

Maybe because my father is weak that's why he sees humans as smart and powerful. But knowing how they can be easily charmed and used.

I thought to myself… That what if…

I charm this beautiful human boy in front of me?

After all, I'm confident with my beauty that I can attract him.

Taking a stance, I swayed my hair with dignity as I spoke.

"I hear you lots are looking for the flower of life?"

Learning the language of humans for more than a decade the voice in my mouth flowed naturally before I gazed deeply into the boy's eyes.

But just gazing at his red eyes already made my heart race.

His face was just my type!

No, my standard for men maybe went even higher because no one could I mention can match up to his beauty.

Perfect!

That was the word befitting of his appearance.

A moment of silence then descended.

My chest, once puffed up, slowly deflated when I realized the boy's reaction, which I had eagerly anticipated, remained stoic.

His eyes were heartbreakingly cold and indifferent.

‹ Perhaps I have something in my face? Did I not style myself enough today??? What is going on? This has never happened! ›

Even though I had worn the ornaments, the charm of my beauty never fails to attract the opposite sex.

Was it because he was a human? But I have also tested it on humans…

As I slowly started to panic.

"Sylvia, the princess of the elven kingdom. I greet you, Princess"

The boy spoke with elegance.

"━Wait… What the fuck? that's the princess?" A certain redhead girl then muttered in haste.

But instead of being mesmerized, I felt worried as to how the boy knew of me.

In an instant, a glowing fireball molded at the tip of the wooden wand of my knight, aimed toward the boy's face.

"—State your purpose here!"

My knight was ready to blow the handsome boy's head, but she was halted when the maid behind the handsome boy suddenly disappeared and a dagger was pointed at my neck.

My eyes widened in shock from the sudden event. It was only then that I understood why Father had been so wary of humans.

‹ That speed… I couldn't even react to it ›

Just how many strong beings exist out there?

As the tension rose, the boy broke the silence.

"How I know doesn't matter. What I can offer is what matters"

Hearing him, I couldn't help but inwardly question why he was so calm. While I was scared shitless by the dagger near my neck.

"I am Alfonso, heir to the esteemed Quiñones family, and I have come to propose a deal with you, Princess."

The boy followed as I hardly swallowed my saliva.

Quiñones he says?

I have heard that name before.

Wait… Could it be???

"The once titled family as the sword of the kingdom for humans"

I quietly muttered to myself. As I inwardly questioned what was his purpose for going here?

"…"

Deep in my thoughts, I only snapped out of it when I noticed his cold gaze piercing through me in silence.

Slowly he moved.

I then followed where his gaze went, it was the wand pointed at him.

"…"

"You are in our kingdom aren't you afraid?"

I scoffed but…

"Try me" The handsome boy only responded in a calm tone, his eyes, no, his face devoid of emotions.

Slowly, his eyes once darted at the wand in front of him again.

Fearing that he might really kill me with his maid, I finally ordered.

"Rebecca, cease your attack now…"

Yet, a click of my knight's tongue only resonated.

"Tsk!" Adamant not to lower her weapon, I slowly felt the dagger's icy blade pressing dangerously closer to my neck.

Though panic surged within me, I called out once again, "Rebecca!"—my voice carrying the grace of noble composure, despite my fear.

"Tch!"

With a sharp click of my knight's tongue again, she swiftly extinguished the fireball, and in response, the dagger pressed against my neck gradually lowered.

Yet, I was acutely aware that any misstep now would seal my fate in an instant.

Does this human not fear the prospect of death?

I silently questioned in my head but soon shook it away when the boy in front nobly walked as he spoke.

"You know… The outside world is quite fun"

Alfonso said as he dragged a wooden chair and sat on it.

His body's posture was so relaxed that I even doubted my eyes. It was as if what happened earlier was nothing but a daily occurrence to him.

But one thing I was sure of is that he wouldn't be so confident if he didn't have a weakness about me.

But how? Mother always hid me and so did I.

Unless there were rats…

As I continued to think deeply, I was quickly dragged out of it by the handsome boy's following words.

"I can give you whatever you want from the outside world but in return, just this time let us buy one of the flowers of life"

Hearing his proposal, my hands quietly trembled from shock.

However, I perfectly concealed them.

"Anything?"

I asked, my eyebrow raised. My appearance must have still looked stoic but I knew inside that I was extremely bewildered by his proposal.

"Yes," Alfonso said while staring at me like as if he could see through my soul.

However, my mind was distracted from thinking of being able to access things from the outside.

Because there was one thing I truly wanted to get but couldn't out of my reputation getting destroyed.

As an elf, we deeply respect nature, we have the tradition of eating only what the elder tree gives us and what plants produce.

But meat? No, it would be a disgrace and can be seen as one being that of an animal killer and an abuser. The same way they would treat a person who also disrespects nature.

I'm a princess, so I can never be a bad example for my people.

"—Don't use your lousy mouth to bribe our princess, she won't fall for it"

Suddenly, Rebecca intervened.

"—Right princess?"

She then followed, a huge prideful grin evident on her face.

Yet… I couldn't agree with her.

This was the only opportunity I could finally get that…

Animal Meat!!!

Yes, ever since I tasted one of them when I was a child. I couldn't help but crave more for it. However, I could not get them because I had no one outside our kingdom. Someone I could trust to get me one without ruining my image.

"Let me hear you out" Disregarding Rebecca, I asked the handsome boy with caution.

His proposal seemed fishy, so I needed to take precautions.

Soon, Alfonso spoke once again.

"Of course, I would get what you want and meet you in secret"

"And why would I trust you?" I coldly retorted I was not so naive as to trust him so easily.

Slowly, Alfonso stood up from his seat, fixing his wrinkled cloth before slowly responding.

"A contract. We'll use a contract and whoever breaks the vow first…" He then stopped fixing his wrinkled suit as he looked at me in the eyes.

"Dies" He continued.
