If there is one thing that the elven race always warned, it would be humans.
Why? Because humans were an extremely intelligent race, strong, and even persistent.
Other races actually feared humans because of their remarkable ability to adapt to any circumstance. Humans might have already taken over the world if not for the presence of demons.
Demons are considered one of the most dangerous races, but second to them are humans.
For this reason, the elves are also cautious of humans. The older elves once experienced humanity's wrath before the demon race came to power in the past.
Though those individuals are no longer alive, knowledge of the history has been passed down through each generation.
So it won't be surprising that Rebecca was also once warned by her parent that humans are a race to beckon with.
Yet, despite their warnings, now she is facing a human boy.
Wearing only her elegant elven clothing, with subtle engravings of symbols that reflect her status as a knight, but with practical design to allow ease in battle.
She thought; Since she always won her battles including the humans she had fought, this time was no different.
"I'll make certain you know the sting of true humiliation," Rebecca declared, her voice dripping with disdain as she leveled her wooden sword at the human boy. With a practiced ease, she fastened the bracelet that would conceal her abilities, lowering herself to his level—for his sake.
Even as she did, her mind buzzed with violent resolve, eager to shatter any illusion the boy held of victory.
"━Ready!"
Finally, the word she had been waiting for resounded. Though it was in the human language, she understood they used it so the human boy would know the battle was about to begin.
"━FIGHT!!!"
In a blink of an eye, her body immediately moved.
Today, she was going to teach this human a lesson. That's why she chose a public place to fight with the handsome boy to further humiliate him.
While in the back, elven people cheered for her.

From where I stood, I could see people piling into the stadium to watch. I was currently at the corner of the arena's stage.
Perhaps the reason there were so many people watching was because the knight I'd be fighting was well-known here—not only for her undefeated record, but also for her talent and, perhaps, her beauty.
Well with her tall stature, and her pony-tailed light pink hair and eyes. Her beauty is undeniably exposed, with sharp features and an ambitious gaze, the only downside is that… She is flat.
But…
"To bring me here of all places… Was it impossible to choose somewhere less insufferably loud?"
To be honest, I expected Rebecca, Sylvia's knight, to suddenly challenge me because it bruised her ego that I'd dared to threaten her princess.
Just like in the game I once played, Rebecca felt humiliated that the protagonist was indifferent toward her princess, despite Sylvia taking an interest in him.
Seeing this, Rebecca furiously challenged the protagonist but lost and was humbled.
Perhaps this time, it'll be me who humbles her instead of the protagonist.
[FIRST QUEST]
[DEFEAT SYLVIA'S KNIGHT 'REBECCA]
-Reward: 300 points
-Failure to accomplish: ??? (Decrease your chance of survival.)
And the fact that this quest arrived. I can't say no to this, can't I? The fact that it's the first quest appeared. But why does it have to be related to my survival?
Anyway, I didn't want this to happen or I expected to meet Sylvia but since it was the fastest way to get the flower of life. Why not? Time is gold after all. I can't waste any more time than this.
As I was deep in my musings.
"━Ready!"
The announcer finally announced.
"━FIGHT!!!"
In a blink of an eye, the female knight in front of me disappeared.
Despite Rebecca having concealed her rank and mana to balance the scale of power. The speed she exuded was something not visible to the eyes.
At least, for normal people.
The female knight was tall for elves like her, but since I was taller than the usual Joe, I matched her height easily.
━Bang!
Using [Super Slash] ability, my wooden sword met hers as a resounding impact echoed, but that clash didn't stop, rather it continued and got louder.
━Bang! Bang! Bang!
Her every move was blocked by my sword, despite her speed. I already knew her patterns from playing the game too much and could predict every single technique she unleashed.
However, as the fight went on, my hand started to feel numb—her strength was not something to scoff at.
‹ What a pain in the ass ›
I silently muttered to my head.
Because of the numbing feeling of my hand, I momentarily got thrown back by the impact of her sword after I blocked her. As a result, I couldn't help but bend down from losing my balance as the cheers of people in the back watching erupted.
"—𝕳𝖆𝖍! 𝕴𝖘 𝖙𝖍𝖆𝖙 𝖗𝖊𝖆𝖑𝖑𝖞 𝖆𝖑𝖑 𝖞𝖔𝖚'𝖛𝖊 𝖌𝖔𝖙, 𝖍𝖚𝖒𝖆𝖓? 𝕻𝖆𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖙𝖎𝖈. 𝕴 𝖍𝖆𝖛𝖊𝖓'𝖙 𝖊𝖛𝖊𝖓 𝖇𝖔𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖗𝖊𝖉 𝖙𝖔 𝖚𝖘𝖊 𝖍𝖆𝖑𝖋 𝖒𝖞 𝖘𝖙𝖗𝖊𝖓𝖌𝖙𝖍, 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝖞𝖔𝖚'𝖗𝖊 𝖆𝖑𝖗𝖊𝖆𝖉𝖞 𝖘𝖙𝖚𝖒𝖇𝖑𝖎𝖓𝖌."
Rebecca sneered, as I elegantly stood, as if nothing happened.
Swaying my sword, I prepared a stance.
"Noisy"
I muttered, my whole body exuding confidence and elegance.
"—𝕷𝖊𝖙'𝖘 𝖘𝖊𝖊 𝖎𝖋 𝖞𝖔𝖚'𝖗𝖊 𝖘𝖙𝖎𝖑𝖑 𝖘𝖒𝖚𝖌 𝖔𝖓𝖈𝖊 𝕴'𝖛𝖊 𝖈𝖗𝖚𝖘𝖍𝖊𝖉 𝖞𝖔𝖚 𝖇𝖊𝖓𝖊𝖆𝖙𝖍 𝖒𝖊 𝖑𝖎𝖐𝖊 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖗𝖊𝖘𝖙 𝖔𝖋 𝖞𝖔𝖚𝖗 𝖐𝖎𝖓𝖉."
Followed the female knight as she once charged again at me.
‹ So she is gonna use that… ›
I mused as I waited for her next move.
[Deadly Thrust]
I used one of my trump cards as she attempted to feint with her first strike.
In an instant, my sword met her abdomen when she tried to feint her attack and follow up with a real strike, which, of course, failed miserably for her.
—Bam!!!
I could feel the impact reverbrate all over my body as I put all my strength into hitting her. Because of this my perfectionist tendency didn't emerge but rather a satisfying feeling consumed me.
But In return, from using the system's skill, my shoulder started to ache.
Now, I just had one more time to use [Deadly Thrust] before I broke my bones again.
Feeling like the attack was not enough, I didn't give Rebecca time to recover, I sprinted toward her while she was in mid-air and-
—Bam!!!
[Super Slash]
In an upper strike, her face was flown up to the sky before she ultimately rolled to the ground.
Feeling fully satisfied, I finally stopped my onslaught and dragged the tip of my wooden sword into the ground as I looked down at the pathetic sight of the knight elf who was letting out a cry of pain.
Clutching to her stomach as she puked out a little bit of her saliva.
Witnessing such a scene, my blood began to boil at her disgusting appearance. "𝕻𝖆𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖙𝖎𝖈!" I spat, unable to hold back the urge.
Slowly, Rebecca's eyes widened as she heard my voice.
Now that I think about it, I haven't revealed that I could understand the elven language and even speak of it.
Perhaps it was because I used the elven language to insult her that she looked shocked. But one thing I know for sure is that…
She looked extremely pathetic right now.
‹ Disgusting! ›
I felt embarrassed for her because there were hundreds, perhaps thousands of people watching us fight in this arena.
You shall pay the price for even thinking you could humiliate me with such lousy skills.
Just like in the game, how she fought with the protagonist was also in the public's eyes.
I could even hear the once-thunderous cheers of the elven crowd around the arena fall to silence.
