Elena had nothing to say again. She wanted to engage him in a conversation, but he was always giving her a short response.
She was enjoying being carried. She quietly sniffed his cologne. He smelled like fresh flowers on the field.
She couldn't get enough of his sweet scent. Liam on the other hand couldn't believe she shamelessly sniffed him, but he chose to ignore it.
They walked few more miles, before arriving at the open street.
Liam dropped her down when they got to an open environment. Elena could barely feel her limbs, and was about falling again when Liam caught her.
He held her by the waist, as she placed her arms round his shoulders for support.
"Don't worry. I know you can manage on your own, but I just chose to assist." He said sarcastically.
Elena paid no attention to what he was saying, as she could tell he was only trying to make fun of her.
Liam stopped a cab, and helped her to get in. Elena held the door open.
