"What the fuck dude?" Liam chided the moment Alex walked into his room.
Alex had seen that coming, even before he left the trainyard earlier.
"I was just bluffing. I swear. I didn't really mean it." He quickly defended himself.
"And that's the problem. You don't mean it. What then will happen when you turn her down after the hope you've already given to her." Liam vent out his anger on Alex.
"Okay, I'm sorry. I wasn't really thinking about it. Besides, she's still a kid. What more does she know about love. In the next few months, she'll probably have forgotten all about this..."
"And what if she doesn't?" Liam was not having any of Alex's words.
"You are overthinking all this. I promise you that it definitely won't work out.
She might probably fall in love with one Duke or prince after now. It's not like I'm going to get married to her... In fact, I'm not going to get married at all.
