"Boss, what do we do with these flowers?"
"Nothing, let's get out of here, I need to think."
"All right, let's go. Get ready to head back up."
I can already tell this is going to give me a headache.
Wasn't expecting to find any kind of plants in a place like this.
If there was a lake, a small opening letting in sunlight, or anything like that, fine. But in a place where there's neither light nor water, having so many flowers seems impossible.
Even if someone planted them here, they'd die without proper care.
I'm not even a botanist. Why do I have to deal with plants so much? I guess I should have studied more about this subject; maybe there's something I just don't know.
Once, I heard about an entire underground forest appearing. Perhaps these flowers feed on something different from the others, and this is their natural habitat.
Maybe the scent they emit is part of the puzzle or the answer.
"Boss, are you okay?"
"Hey Martins, I'm perfectly fine, just confused."
"What we found in that hole was completely unexpected."
"Those things shouldn't be there."
"Well, to me, you're already something quite perplexing; maybe they also had someone like you."
"Maybe."
"Well, not much to do about it, we'll just set this issue aside and focus on our property." "Alright, so what do we do now?"
"Now, we'll start building a raft."
"I see, but one thing I'm uncertain about is why do we have to build something so large?"
"It would be better to just make several smaller boats, wouldn't it?"
"It would, but this isn't just about crossing from one point of the lake to another; it's more about the tribe gaining knowledge about watercraft."
"I may know many things, but I don't know everything. What I want is for other members of the tribe to learn and create things on their own that I may not even know."
"Boss, we found something."
"What?"
"We were exploring the other entrance when we found something."
"Great, let's see what you've found."
"After following for a while, I reached the location where they found something.
It was a wall, with a detail.
Iron.
And not just iron, when I examined it closely, I identified iron, but there were also other things.
I hadn't graduated as a geologist, but I knew a bit about some things. Because of this knowledge, I could recognize the iron before, and now as well.
But these other things, except for the iron, what could they be?
Ahhh, yet another thing I don't know, at least this time it's not something so bizarre.
"Very well, this will help a lot in our future projects."
"Now that we've explored this cave and had a great result, I hope the others are as good."
"Now let's go, it will be dark soon. Tomorrow we'll explore the others, and after cataloging all the main resources, we'll start the transportation plan."
