As Taylor dissipated, he closed his eyes expecting to be back in his room, but instead he appeared in another open space. He looked around and saw Syranita standing next to him and flinched. She looked straight and started walking, he tagged along obediently, waiting for the next instruction.
Syranita led him on until they came up in a cloud which started moving, Taylor screamed hysterically and held on to her on impact. She looked at him, and he came back to his senses,
"Sorry "
She pointed at something below them, and he looked down. He swallowed at the sight of the realm so far below.
"Where are we?"
Syranita smiled and began,
"That is the Realm of the Forgotten: Faerûn, the land of your kind. Where you will start your mission and where you will end it. By tomorrow your mission will start, you have two hours to make saves before returning to your world" He quirked his eyebrows"But, I thought an hour here was approximately three hours when I come from. Two hours means six hours and I have to go to school, I'll barely be able to sleep!"
Syranita's smile faded, and she said seriously
"Well then you can forfeit your system!"
"Don't yell at me, I'm the confused one here. I don't know how I got this system or how I'm here or what I'm supposed to do !"
Syranita breathed out slowly and smiled once again
" Then allow me to explain, in every decade the god's that rules the Realm of Mythical Creatures sends out messengers to a thousand lads. These messengers can approach you in any way, some approach the receivers through a portal while some take forms of objects then attach themselves onto something.
In your case, your messenger took the form of codes and travelled through utopia, it inserted itself into your gaming system and attached itself to your headpiece. Am I correct?"
He nodded, speechless. Satisfied, she continued,
" As you put your headpiece on, it transferred into your mind with zap transfer which may have caused an electrical reaction, which is why you passed out. Your messenger then morphed into a system, which is the one you Host currently"
"But i-…erh… how?.. I mean…"
"If you have any questions, your system has an inbuilt AI guide that could help you with anything that confuses you. Now come along, I have something to show you"
They were in front of what looked like a temple, it was built with golden bricks and bronze floors. He walked so lightly as if he were walking on eggshells for fear of tainting the expensive floor, as he had never seen anything like that before.
"Welcome to the blessed temple of Aerdie Faenya and Akadi"
He walked to the center of the temple and gazed at the altar in awe. At the peak of the altar were two majestic beings levitating, their eyes were closed, but they looked very much real
"Are they alive?" He whispered to her.
"Yes they are, but they only heed you when you summon them "
"How can I do that?" He whispered again.
"You can't if you aren't in dire need of something, that's how things work in this realm "
Syranita went on and on about what he should and shouldn't do to his system and how saves worked
"With each save, you earn a certain amount of Exp, which you can use to activate some features as you go on. There are mystic objects that you need to find to be able to move on to your next save.
As of now, you're a Rogue-class Aarakocra so make sure you aren't noticed, or you will be maimed by Rangers . Along the way, you may meet some other Rogue lads like you and form a guild to level up quicker. Do you get that?"
He nodded obediently and she smiled
"I think you're ready" She said with a sense of pride and disappeared
"Wait what?!… Miss ?.. Where are you?.. Hello? , Anyone?" He shouted, almost panicking. He felt the energy leaving his body and fell to the floor and his eyes closed.
Back In The Human World
Taylor slowly opened his eyes, he blinked twice before jumping out of his bed.
"Jeez, that was one dream "Don barked loudly and ran to him, he rubbed the pups fur tenderly. He checked the time, and it said 5:27am, he smiled and sat on his swivel chair.
"I have a few hours before school" he smirked victoriously.
He tried to switch on the system, but it wasn't working
"So it was a virus!" He groaned frustrated. He turned around, restless and annoyed.
Suddenly, his vision went blurry. He panicked and started blinking crazily, but it didn't stop. Then words started appearing before his eyes and he freaked out and fell from his chair.
Don ran to him, barking loudly, as he groaned in pain. He sat up breathing heavily
"Why is nothing going my way today, did I offend the universe?" He felt like crying
All of a sudden the words reappeared
"What!?, what's going on?"
He slowly read the words out of fear

"What?.er …erm … Yes,"
The system turned on its own, and fear gripped him harder.
"What's going on?. Who's doing that?, show yourself!"

Out of curiosity, he did, and an AI programmed info appeared on them, and he freaked again
" What! Who's doing that?"
Then the whole episode of the previous night came running to his mind and his mouth fell open in shock,
"So it wasn't a dream?"
He looked at Don and something popped up.
