Don't look down on the Safaris, these people were also among the top a hundred race on the Survival ladder. You should also not think lowly of that position because there were at least tens of thousands races in the dimensions that Lazy Wafula lived in.
This Survival ladder was the power ranking for their dimension only. Furthermore, even if this Safari lady was bald, she was still a beauty, the gang allowed her to be their leader mainly because she came from a higher race than them, how could they control her when some of them, their races were not even in the top a thousand?
Olie Nyang, that was her name. She was supercilious, indifferent and haughty. Back then, she had decided for her gang to go hunting in the Destroyed Fate mountains. Though she had already maximized her level one bar, some of the people in the gang had not done so, thus she decided to take them to the Destroyed Fate mountains because it was close to Kibra shelter and it was also a "safe" place to hunt down level one beasts.
Everything was fine when they went into the woods and they met several Wood Rivers which didn't break their sweat to take them out. All the unlucky beasts that found themselves in their way were quickly taken out. Some of these people had storage spaces which they had obtained from the beasts they absorbed.
The storage spaces came as beast souls. Make no mistake, the guardian spirit of every cultivation plane will not accept any foreign technology to this plane because some may have other attributes that may soil this place, every cultivator had to depend on beast souls which had the needed attribute to be accepted in this place. Those storage spaces were used to store the beasts killed so that they can absorb their blood energy later.
Everything went according to their plan until they reached deep in the Destroyed Fate mountains. It was a trap, yes it has to be. The beasts knew they will come here so they were waiting quitely to ambush them. Don't allow your mind to wander too far, the Destroyed Fate mountains was not a tall single mountain that went up and pierced the sky, no, that's not it. Destroyed Fate mountains was a place full of mystery loved by level one beasts because it was a place where they can hide very well from predators.
Destroyed Fate mountains was not even a mountain, it was a cluster of many huge rocks that remained suspended in the air like meteorites in space. Beasts can make a nest on top of one of the suspended rocks or bore a hole through it, to make its nest there.
Anyway, the Sailors had easily got themselves deep into the mountains when they were suddenly ambushed by Cavern Cats. These cats had black scrunched skin that was hairless and they also had green glowing eyes. In addition, they had two black horns coming out of their heads and their chubby abdomen had two hideous vipers coming out of them. The Cavern Cats had a higher birth rate and any cultivator who run into them will chose to flee upon seeing even one, let alone a large group that ambushed the Sailors.
Their abilities was what made them very scary than other strong creatures. A female Cavern Cat can bore not less than twenty cavern younglings, making this species the most feared by cultivators in the undead cultivation plane. The Sailors didn't expect that they will meet them in this situation which made them dismayed and daunted.
"We can finish them off. Guys, don't be dispirited, even if we were to fall, we basically must go down with several of them." Olie Nyang said confidently after not finding any gap that their gang can use to escape. The cats were everywhere with the intention of not allowing even one of them to get out of this place alive.
Without waiting for further ado, the most chubby Cavern Cat among them which was the leader and probably the strongest among the Cavern Cats, snarled ordering the Cavern Cats to make a move. The chubby Cavern Cat was surly, lordly, cunning and supercilious.
Just like zombies, though the Cavern Cats didn't drag themselves lazily and forcefully like the cinematic zombies and they also didn't have ripped chunks of flesh. Their eyes glowed even more, becoming like spotlights that focused on their prey. They were so many Cavern Cats scurrying towards them at every different angle.
