Chapter 16 - Iwé-fwé

"Everyone in this realm has their own systems but they vary depending on the guardian- lord who had assigned those systems. Some systems are mediocre while others are immensely powerful, it depends on luck also when it comes to selections. The only rule that make all systems the same is that the system assigned must be in sync with the attribute of the cultivator. For example, ice system for ice attribute, fire system and yours demonic system."

'So that is how the systems in this realm work?' Lazy Wafula was enlightened, from what he had heard from the system, he had come to know where these systems come from. All the systems were assigned to them by the people who call themselves lords. 'Did that mean that the person who initiated the survival selections on Earth was one of these people that call themselves lords?' He asked himself this question wanting the system to answer him but the system just stayed quiet so, he decided to ask it directly.

"Are these lords that you are talking about, the ones who initiated the survival selections on planet Earth?"

"Beep"

"Yes and no"

The system answered simply without explaining further. Lazy Wafula then realized that this was a classified topic that he was not supposed to know anything about it, but he can't help to be curious. So many people in planet Earth had died because of this Genesis thingy, to think that there were people behind this...

"Beep"

"Don't think too much about Genesis, when you become strong enough, you will be obliged to know why Genesis is there, what it does and who are the people behind it."

This system that Lazy has can speak to him unlike the previous system which didn't have this function.

"Is it really a must for people to cultivate? Erm, What I mean is that, can someone be allowed to live an ordinary life without cultivating?" Lazy asked the system awkwardly while breathing heavily with anticipation. To him, this cultivation seemed to be a tiresome process. He would just like to live an ordinary life where he can work in an office than to chase for beasts which might get him killed.

"In this cultivation world, power is everything. The weak are trampled by the strong. You can't do anything in this world without power. The powerful have so many privileges depending on their power ranks, you will get to see when you move around on this planet. Where you are right now is very far from where the people live (residential and commercial area)."

"One can chose to live an ordinary life and the system will not force you to cultivate but that is only for those people with no talents that choose so. Also, sometimes if one fail the quests consecutively, the system may be taken away from them which is just like taking away their chances to step in cultivation planes. You should know that without the system one can not enter in to the cultivation planes."

"What I have just said is from the weak cultivators point of view. A cultivator like you has no choice of wanting to stay as an ordinary person. The survivor overlord herself has selected you, not to mention the strongest system that you have been awarded, don't you think it would be a waste to keep this system in limbo? not to mention that it would look bad on the overlord to other lords because she had chosen you herself. I think you will not be given that chance. I advise you to drop those thoughts because if the overlord heard you, she will be raged and punish you severely"

Lazy Wafula thought about what the system had said and sighed softly. He had just lost a chance to stay an ordinary life of no troubles and responsibilities.

Sorrowfully, he stood up slowly and stared at the horizon where the ocean stretched up to the sky. In the other opposite side of the ocean, it was a beautiful lively park where people can relax and have a picnic or do something else to calm themselves from the noices of the city. This park was so large that his eyes can not see the end. There was no soul in sight to be seen in this park which made Lazy Wafula to judge that this was a private property yes, he had appeared in the lawn of someone without their consent. Knowing that, and recalling what the system had told him about the strong trampling the weak, Lazy Wafula willed the cultivation plane window and without thinking, he clicked the teleport me avatar. A portal appeared in front of him that instant and sucked him in.

Lazy Wafula found himself in a small room which puzzled him thinking that he had been trapped but he calmed down after hearing the voice of the system.

"Beep"

"Host has been teleported to Kibra shelter. The teleportation consumes energy points and host had no energy points previously so, the system teleported you here for free. You have to kill beasts to earn energy points so that you can afford to teleport back to planet Iwefwe and vice versa."

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?" Lazy Wafula was fuming inside. This system waited him to come here first before it told him about the use of energy points. But anyway he had come here to kill those beasts, no, to cultivate so, he was not that overly concerned. He also found out that the planet where he had popped up on when he was migrated from planet Earth, that planet was called Iwefwe. That was the place where he will spent his life after his migration.

"Where am I?" Lazy Wafula looked around the room with a blank look.

"Beep"

"As I said earlier, you have been teleported to Kibra shelter in the undead cultivation plane..."

{ ➜☞☞ undisputed_shame: This name, (Iwe-èfwe) is a little bit awkward, right?

For those that don't know, I just want to let you guys see what these cultivation planes are by teleporting Lazy Wafula to one of them. Let Lazy Wafula level up a little and then he will be back to Iwefwe planet shortly. I will not take too much space in explaining this cultivation plane thing. So, one should not be worried with how I have fucked with the settings here.}

{ Badass: LOL! I can see some traces of incompetence here, however, it's still good.}

{ undisputed_shame: I write what I think is the best. Some rules can be ignored since my readers don't care about that.}
