The Advent of Dawn

Year 2214, Planet Earth: 84 years after the crisis that shook the world, now referred to as Terra Terminus. This global catastrophe compelled every world nation to action − pooling the remaining resources towards the establishment of the World Frontier Federation (WFF), whose mission is to facilitate humankind’s exodus to a new planet. After countless failures, the WFF designed a System that expedites the process of biological adaptation. Humans now have opportunity the to safely colonize the most resource-abundant planet in the closest solar system, Planet MW.3156 − Polaris. Alicia Belrose pioneers as a labourer for this expedition, with the hopes of getting a new lease on life. Unfortunately, before she could land safely on the planet, her shuttle malfunctions and crashes into a mountainside. Near death, she hears a faint voice in her head, “I have finally found you… at long last, I have found my champion.” 「Scanning host . . . Error! Unidentified lifeform detected」 「Initiating failsafe Protocol X97 . . . Failed to initiate protocol」 「Warning! Modifying SysAdmin.ini may cause the System to become unstable. Continue? [Y/N] 」 「. . . System will reboot in 3 . . . 2 . . . 1 . . . 」 「. . . Welcome to Polaris」 --------------------------------------- Hi everyone, I can only write this in my spare time but I am definitely trying to update this more frequently. Please don't expect daily updates as it is likely I will only be able to write 1-2 chapter(s)/week. Note: I know there's "System" in the synopsis but it's definitely not a System novel.

Sebastian Clouse, a 23-year-old well-known genius and extraordinaire, grew up in a world of good fortune and raised by his loving mother, Elizabeth Clouse, who was part of his life and never left his side, even during the hardest times. His father, Victor Clouse, who is a world-famous businessman who created a lot of inventions, focused mostly on his work than his own family. Everything and anything that he wanted was given to him by his parents, who loved him so much, but feared him with the same extent. My Throne At the Peak of the Tower

Owen Valegaurd was born weak into a world dominated by the strong and the talented. He worked harder than humanly possible, and rose to the peak of the tower. He was among the strongest of the gods, and was feared by many. Those who attacked him were swiftly put down. Eventually, however, Owen aquired a group of strong, loyal companions who stood at the peak by his side. They went through hell and high water together, and there was no force in the Heavens that could stop them when they were all together. That's why their betrayal was so unexpected for Owen, and why it hurt the way it did. "Damn you all!" Owen screamed at the top of his blood filled lungs. He did not curse them, although he had the ability to do so. Instead, he turned his remaining energy inward, to his last failsafe. It was the most brilliant two part construct he had ever made, the "Second Chance System". He designed his masterpiece to force his will onto the wheel of time and send him back to his childhood with his memories in tact. A transparent purple screen appeared before him with white lettering: 'NOT ENOUGH MANA TO CONTINUE WITH REGRESSION' 'WOULD YOU LIKE TO SWITCH TO OPERATION B?' Owen didn't like operation b as much as his initial plan, but it would have to do. Reincarnation always left so much uncertainty: how much further into the future, how strong his new body would be, if he was even in the same world. But it would work out. It had to. He was going to punish those who betrayed him, even if it cost him everything.
