"Are you serious?" he asked and he could see the faint blush on Lian's ears.
Lian slowly nodded his head and Ding couldn't help but want to tease him a bit.
"Too bad then. You aren't my type and I prefer ladies with a tempting body. You on the other hand..."
"Do you think I don't know that I don't suit your tastes?" he asked fresh tears streaming down his cheeks," I know it too well but still... I can't help but have weird feelings and thoughts towards you."
"Oh? Weird feelings you say."
"Yes!"
He messily wiped his eyes smearing his tears all over his face.
"You're drunk. How about you just rest for now."
Lian grabbed Ding's cheeks in his hands and forced him to look directly into his eyes and Ding did not resist.
"Why do you have to be a jerk even in MY dream?" he asked and Ding shook his head.
"I told you didn't I? If you want something, speak up."
Ding leaned closer to him and stopped just when the tip of their noses touched. A blush crept up on Lian's cheeks and he immediately pulled back but Ding was not having it. He grabbed the back of his neck and held him in place.
"Where do you think you're going?"
Lian's mind went blank as his heartbeat loudly echoed in his ears.
"Stop it," he said and closed his eyes.
"Hmm?"
Ding caressed his cheek with his thumb and the coldness of his fingers made him slightly shiver. Ding leaned closer to his ear and in a low voice whispered," Are you nervous?"
Lian gulped and he could feel his ears heating up.
"N, No am... not... ner...vous..."
~
Lian stirred and opened his eyes. He slowly sat up and grabbed his throbbing head.
"My head hurts... just how much did I drink last night?"
He slowly dangled his feet from the bed and with a clear mind, he looked around the room.
"Hmm... where am I? I dont remember much about what happened after I drank that guy's drink back at the casino."
He slowly got down from the bed and walked towards the slightly open door assuming it was the bathroom. Just as he reached the door, Ding's frame appeared and he leapt back in surprise.
"Master? What are you doing here?" he asked.
"What does it look like am doing?"
Lian's eyes trailed up and down his body before stopping on the faint mark on his collarbone.
I guess after I left he had some fun with the ladies... why do his actions make me feel like this?
Ding studied his face and walked past him and into the room.
"Why do you have that look on your face?"
"Nothing... it's just that... it seems you had a lot of fun last night."
"Fun? What makes you think that?"
"Well..."
"Yeah?"
"Nothing nevermind," he said and disappeared into the bathroom.
Lian opened the tap and poured some cold water on his face before looking at his reflection.
"What right do I have to ask him about his actions? That's right... am in no position to ask him... am on a mission here... let's not get attachments..."
After a quick bath he walked out of the bathroom a towel on his hair. He looked around the room and noticed Ding was long gone. He walked towards the bed and sat down.
"What are you doing?" Ding asked and Lian jumped up, his towel almost falling.
"Nothing! I don't have anything to wear so..."
He placed the tray beside Lian and walked towards the closet. Lian looked at the tray which had a bowl of soup, some medicine and a glass of water.
Did he go get this for me?
Ding threw a shirt and trouser on the bed and Lian looked at the clothes.
"I don't think my underwear will fit you."
"W, Why are you saying that out loud?" he asked and Ding looked at him.
"What? Are you embarrassed about it?"
"No am not!" he said defensively," would you mind... turning around?"
"Why should I? Besides, don't you remember what happened last night?"
Lian looked at him, confusion reflecting on his face.
"Last night?"
Ding turned his back to him and he swiftly put on the clothes which made him look tiny.
His clothes smell nice... they feel comfortable too.
"Wow, you look even smaller with my clothes on."
"Hmph!"
Ding sat next to him and picked the bowl of soup before handing it to him.
"Here you go."
"?"
"What? You want me to feed you or something?"
Lian snatched the bowl from him nearly pouring the drink.
"Don't joke like that," he said and drank directly from the bowl.
"Careful. I wouldn't want my precious pet to choke and die."
Lian stopped drinking and coughed twice.
"What did you say?"
"... my precious pet..."
"Precious? You've never called me that before..."
"Well last night you wouldn't stop crying until I called you that."
Lian spit the drink in his mouth and turned to Ding.
"What exactly happened last night?"
"You don't remember?"
"Did I say something weird?"
Ding, sensing his embarrassment, leaned in closer to him.
"It hurts my feelings that you forgot our first time together."
"F- fir- first time?"
Don't tell me I did something unforgivable to him. Why can't I remember anything... wait... then that mark on him was by... me?!
Ding faintly smiled as he realised what Lian was thinking about.
"Do you not remember confessing your love to me?"
Love? Confessing? Now I've done it.. I not only bit him but confessed my feelings?! No matter how strong that drink was, why didn't I keep my mouth in check?! What do I do? I can't stop imagining what I might have done in my drunk state...
Ding snapped his fingers in front of Lian's eyes but he was too focused on whacking his brain for last night's events.
"I didn't expect him to look so... worried. Maybe I shouldn't bring up his desires."
"Desires? What desires?"
"Ah, you heard me."
"Did I do anything to you?" he asked his gaze resting on Ding.
"Bold of you to think you didn't. I even have proof," he said and lowered his shirt revealing his collarbone," this was done by you."
Lian's mouth dropped open in shock and his body went pale.
"Look at him... he lost all his color because of a small bite mark. I really want to mess with him," Ding mumbled to himself.
"Sorry! Sorry! Sorry!"
"Hey yo.."
"Am so sorry!"
I don't think an apology can make it up for my actions but what can I do? He must have been disgusted by my actions...
Ding flicked his forehead drawing him from his thoughts.
"Do you know what you did wrong?"
