"I thought if I could escape, I would kill every mortal in this world," I mused. Just as this thought crossed my mind, a girl appeared before me.
"Where do you think you're going, love?" Big Sister addressed Ayro. I looked at her, filled with fear.
"Listen to me, love," I responded, my voice trembling. 'I sense I cannot attack this person in front of me,' I thought.
"What else do you want to say? I'm listening, love," Big Sister said with a wide grin. The others sat at the table, observing me and the newcomer.
"What's wrong with ,Alas? Why is he acting so strange this early in the morning?" Kavya asked.
"I don't know, Kavya, but seeing him like this, I don't think he's lying, especially after seeing that ring on his hand," Aunt said suspiciously.
"Yes, you're right. He wasn't like this last night. Something must have happened this morning," Mom added, worried.
"Let's go see what he wants," Aunt suggested, approaching us. As they drew near, they heard me say, "Listen to me, love."
"What the heck is wrong with Brother? Why does he keep repeating 'love' in every sentence?" Kavya thought aloud, joining the conversation. Her annoyance grew as she heard Big Sister address me as 'love'.
"Now Big Sister is playing along," she muttered.
They surrounded me.
"So, tell us the reason, love," Aunt asked.
"Can't you just let me go? I have no quarrel with any of you," I said softly and sweetly.
"No, we can't let you go, even if we have no enmity. What about your punishment?" Big Sister asked jokingly.
'He don't seem to be in the right place. How can we let him go?' they thought to themselves.
"Wait, you said I'm your little brother, didn't you?" I asked suddenly, catching them off guard.
"Well, you are, but what does that have to do with anything?" Big Sister replied, slightly confused.
"Then can't you forgive your little brother?" I asked with a bitter smile.
"Huh..." Everyone looked at me.
"I'm not saying you don't have to punish me, but can you do it after I take a stroll outside?" I suggested with a smile.
"Why wait for punishment? Why not now?" Big Sister inquired.
"Because I'm not feeling well enough for any kind of punishment," I replied calmly.
"Oh, if that's the case, why don't you rest here until you feel better?" Big Sister offered.
'I think I can't win this argument. It's good they don't want to kill me, or I'd be dead by now,' I thought. Then I said, "Sword, you're back," happily, looking at the dining table. Everyone followed my gaze.
"'This is my chance, now or never,' I thought, rushing towards the main door. But before I could reach it, an ice wall materialized in front of me, and in an instant, I was encased in an ice cage.
Big Sister turned, a smile playing on her lips, and approached me with the others.
'You want to outsmart me? I'm your big sister, love, so that's not possible,' Big Sister declared, looking at me.
'Why are you acting like this, baby? It's enough. We're not going to punish you. Just stop acting like this,' Mom said, looking at me worriedly.
'Yes, Alas, it's enough. I won't punish you either. Just stop it. You're stressing us out,' Aunt said sternly.
'If you want to, just let me go,' I demanded, looking at them.
'Because you're acting weird, that's why,' Big Sister replied.
'I don't even know you. Why are you still capturing me? Is it because I'm a demon?' I asked them.
'No, we're not capturing you because you're a demon or anything. You're our little brother and Aunt's son, that's why we're doing this. It sounds wrong to say we're capturing you; we're just protecting you from doing something stupid,' Big Sister explained seriously. The others nodded in agreement.
'What the fuck are you talking about? I have no fucking family. I was created by eternal darkness, you idiot mortal humans,' I shouted angrily.
'What happened to you, Alas? You were alright yesterday. Do you really not remember any of us?' Aunt asked, her voice filled with concern.
'Yes, Alas, what happened to you?' Mom echoed, her expression filled with worry.
'Can't you hear that bitch? I'm telling you, I don't fucking know any of you. I'm a fucking demon. How can you even give birth to me? That's impossible,' I yelled.
'And I'm telling you, if you don't remove this shit cage, I won't hold back,' I threatened Big Sister.
'What happened to you, little brother? Why are you saying these things?' Big Sister asked, her eyes starting to well up with tears. Not only her, but Kavya and Mom were on the verge of crying as well. Aunt, however, maintained her composure, expertly controlling her emotions.
'I already told you, I don't know. Just remove this ice in front of me,' I demanded of Big Sister again.
'What do you want to do if I remove this ice?' Big Sister inquired.
'I just want to get out of here,' I replied.
'Sorry, little Alas, we can't let you leave now after seeing your condition,' Aunt said, her voice steady despite the moisture gathering in her eyes.
'Did things really get this bad? I didn't expect this to happen today after talking with them normally yesterday. What happened to you, Alas?' Aunt thought to herself, growing increasingly worried but maintaining a calm exterior.
"If that's the case and you won't let me go, then I have no choice," I declared, beginning to pummel the ice with my fists. After a few blows, the light blue ice started to turn red.
Upon seeing blood gushing from my hands and staining the ice, Big Sister shouted, "Alas, what are you doing? You'll seriously injure yourself. Stop punching!" She rushed towards me. The sight of so much blood caused everyone to panic.
"Baby, why are you doing this? Stop hitting it, please," Mom pleaded, tears streaming down her face.
"Alas, stop this instantly," Aunt demanded, tears welling up in her eyes.
Kavya remained silent, simply watching as more and more blood flowed with each impact.
Meanwhile, my mind was focused on one thought: 'I cannot be captured by these mortals. I must escape. I am the Demon Lord, the strongest, even at my lowest.' Ignoring the intense pain in my hands, I continued to pound the ice wall. I had endured far greater suffering in my life as Demon Lord; this was nothing in comparison.
"Celestia, remove the wall. We'll stop him ourselves, or he'll destroy his arms. I can feel every bone in his fist cracking. I don't know how he's continuing to use his hands with so much pain," Aunt said, tears still falling. She wanted to break down and cry but had to focus on stopping me first.
'Little Alas, why are you doing this? It feels like someone is stabbing my heart with knives. I'm in so much pain. I want to cry, but I have to protect you first,' Aunt thought.
Celestia was also on the verge of tears, and Mother had been crying from the start. Only Kavya stood like a statue, watching the scene without blinking, her thoughts unknown.
Just as Aunt ordered Celestia to remove the ice wall, a loud explosion erupted from my direction.
"Boom!"
