Lilith's POV
"Get the fuck away from my expensive furniture!" Roxanne yelled at me as I crawled around the expanse of her sitting room, crying from the intense pain in my stomach.
My entire life flashed before my eyes like a broken stereo tape while fragments of my past glitched over and over like that of a spoilt tv.
I closed my eyes, ground my teeth as surges of intense pain ran through my body, but before I could react to it, I felt one of them kick hard against my back, thus making me double over as a new type of pain spread through my entire body.
I couldn't even feel my wolf anymore!
"What did you do to me?" I cried, coughing and chortling as drops of blood sputtered out of my mouth to leave a trail of a scarlet colored liquid on the white tiled floor. "You forced poison into my mouth?"
I managed to look up at the both of them, my husband Tyler and my best friend Roxanne who both stared down at me with intense loathing in their eyes.
They felt no remorse for what they had just done, even the tiniest bit of remorse was not on their steely gazes; my heart broke.
"Just shut up and stop playing the victim here!" Roxanne snapped angrily. But I was the victim here!
I was shocked at the tone of voice she had used for it sounded vile, she was vile.
"Why are you doing this to me? I asked again when they wouldn't say a word. Betrayal was such a light word to use to explain how I felt, but at the same time I was petrified, extremely terrified of what they would do to me.
My husband was the Alpha of Blackwood pack; Became Alpha shortly after we became married only a few weeks ago. He had been the best thing that has ever happened to me, more like the sibling I never had until today.
Today, I had walked into my best friend's house only to find his car already there. At first I never thought much about it until I stepped into the main house only to find both of them tangled up on the couch, while he pounded into her like an enraged bull.
The same expensive couch Roxanne had just told me to get away from… a couch I had gotten with my own money.
I literally made her who she was, bought everything she had in her name as well as Tyler's; I couldn't believe this!
"We poisoned you." Roxanne answered me with a smug smile tugging at the corner of her thin lips.
"We poisoned you because we know you'd want a divorce after catching us red handed and we do not want that."
I stared up at her, confused as to why she wouldn't want me to divorce my husband even though she clearly wanted him to herself, until she finally said;
"If you divorce him, we're not going to have the throne we've always wanted anymore, and that would be like a total waste of time because it's the reason we're all in this mess in the very first place."
Her statement confused me, and in my premium gullibility, I had to silently begin piecing bits and bits of her words together until it finally made sense to me. I gasped.
"Yo-you did this ju-just be-cause you wanted my th-throne!" I out; coughing as a new fresh set of blood sputtered out of my mouth like rain.
"Of course baby girl!" She screeched, and then bending over to pat my head gently like I had just said the most reasonable thing in the world, she added; "why else would I do stuff like this?"
I stared at her in incredulity. Words had failed me. Nothing else mattered aside from the pounding in my chest that I could hear even in my ears.
"I brought Tyler into your life for this main reason… to get married to you, kill you off and then remarry me, his mate." She snapped, making my eyes go wide in shock.
They were mates!
Tears sprung into my eyes at the realization. I couldn't believe it. I couldn't believe that I had allowed them to play with my intelligence since all these while; and to think that they even had a daughter together broke my heart even more.
As if to spite me, Tyler drew Roxanne to himself and then began trailing feverish kisses down the length of her neck and chin.
Her soft moans filled the air; and I closed my eyes, willing all of it to stop as tears began to slowly seep out of my eyes.
This had to be a dream, a terrible nightmare that I would wake up and see no more.
I laid there, struggling and writhing, trying to will the pain away but it just wouldn't.
Tyler landed a fatal blow to my midriff as soon as he broke off his kiss with Roxanne, I doubled up in pain, coughed so loudly until tons of blood sputtered out of my mouth to the floor.
"I have one last confession." Roxanne muttered which made me look up at her from my place on the floor. I willed myself for the worst.
I already knew that what she had to say was something terrible and so I wasn't so shocked when she said;
"My daughter Oriana is Tyler's daughter."
Okay.. wait what? For how long has this relationship of theirs been going on because from what I could remember, Oriana was about six years old.
I felt angry tears spring into my eyes almost immediately. I was pissed beyond measure and silently cursed myself for giving myself fully to people as unfeeling as these ones.
I was still lost in my reverie when I felt myself get lifted into the air, felt movements and the next thing I felt was wild air in my hair.
Panic immediately struck me at the thought of what they were about to do to me. As soon as Tyler took me outside very close to the cliff, I gasped because I already knew what was coming to me.
Roxanne lived in an expensive condo situated at the edge of a cliff and it was crystal clear now that they were about to throw me off it.
Just as I had predicted, I heard Tyler mumble something incoherent but then laughed when Roxanne began laughing, and as soon as they were done, he immediately flung my body into the air, down the cliff like I weighed nothing until all I could feel was the rush of air as I fell down the cliff.
Soon after, everything began to feel different; I felt calmer and at peace. I was angry too but at this point, there was nothing else I could do. I closed my eyes waiting for death to take me.
…and just as expected, it did soon after. It pulled me into its abyss, dragging me down with it until all I could feel was myself sinking into the deep dark water.

A sweet savory smell hit my nostrils with so much force that it had me wondering where this lovely goodness was coming from.
I heard the loud rumbling of thunder in the sky a few meters away from where I was and could also hear the splashes of rain as it hit my window pane; and that of the wind, as it whooshed there the air.
I sat up slowly, thinking I was in my afterlife but gasped when the scene in front of me beheld itself.
