Although Kalle had miserably failed his attempt at taking out the huge threat the first second he entered the room, Kalle hadn't lost his hope yet.
He already had a plan B in mind in case his first plan failed and he went into it right away.
First of all, he needed to get away from the bombardment first, and that's what he did.
Using his ordinary leap skill multiple times, Kalle got away in a controlled manner as he dodged all the skill shots that were thrown at him.
Still using his leap skill to move decent distances, Kalle went ahead and confirmed his guess.
He looked at all the elemental slimes all around him and then at the little dragon that was flying calmly in the middle of the room.
Although being in the same room and floating not too far away from him, Edric could exist peacefully as he didn't get attacked by any of the elemental slime skills.
'I'm sure now. These things really got into a diskort call and communicated with each other…'
Kalle's guess was confirmed and he moved to the next phase of his plan right away.
Although he had gotten away from the first bombardment and the huge slime was still recovering a part of its body, that didn't mean Kalle could just dilly-dally around.
The second bombardment was coming and Kalle quickly dodged that too.
However, different from before when he just used the body enhancement on his feet and leap skill together, Kalle used the ordinary leap skill multiple times.
Dodging left and right, Kalle kept moving his feet as he made the slimes unsure where to aim their attacks next.
Even the earth slimes that had accurate information of his whereabouts were quite powerless to hit Kalle as Kalle could easily feel and see the earth mana gathering beneath his feet every time an earth slime attacked.
Unlike the slimes who were powerless against the human that kept on moving, the human in question was preparing his next attack all this time.
On his third leap to dodge the slimes' attacks, Kalle had already cast a spell.
The fireball spell, the simple spell that was powerless against the elemental slimes all this time, was the spell that Kalle had decided to cast.
After playing around with the mana bullet with Edric on his journey back to the boss room, he had found out about something game-changing for him.
The mana bullet spell, and also the fireball spell, were spells that could be cast without him having to plant his feet on the ground and stop moving.
Even while he used his leap skill and sent mana to his feet to cast it, Kalle could still gather mana separately on his staff to cast the fireball skill.
Right now, that was exactly what Kalle had been doing.
It might be nigh impossible for the prior him on his first run of the slime dungeon to keep gathering mana on the staff while casting the leap skill simultaneously.
But with the absolute mana control from his little companion, moving and managing his own mana was like moving his own fingers.
Although it took more time to gather the mana since the mana in his body was divided into two different places at the same time, Kalle was able to do it with ease.
So even when he continuously used the leap skill, more and more mana had gathered on the tip of his staff as a fireball was formed. And Kalle wasn't done exploring the potential of the absolute mana skill.
Not only did he supply the fireball with enough mana to turn the fireball from red to bright orange but he had also used Edric's trick.
The bright orange fireball that was originally the size of Kalle's fist had been condensed down to the size of a golf ball, about the same size as the mana bullet that Edric made.
When he felt he had gathered enough mana, Kalle finally stopped moving for the first time, giving the slimes a chance to lock on to his positions and bombard him with more spells.
However, Kalle, who had a plan in mind all this time, was much faster than the slimes.
Only a split second had passed since he stopped but Kalle had already aimed his staff towards his target.
About a dozen meters away from him, there were 5 brown-colored slimes that had been his target all this time.
When his staff was aligned to the slime that stood in the center, Kalle released his newly acquired skill.
'Flame Bullet'
The small bright orange fireball then flew towards the earth slimes with speed as fast as a bullet as it arrived at its target the second Kalle released the skill.
A large boom resounded throughout the boss room. A blinding light that covered the whole area, and a lava crater on the ground.
That was what Kalle felt and saw the next second after he released his Flame Bullet.
Different from the mana bullet that just left a meter-wide crater after landing, the flame bullet did much more.
The condensed flame mana exploded even bigger than the ordinary fireball due to them being forced to fit in the smallest area possible. It was more than enough to cover 5 slimes that huddled near each other.
All the earth slimes were obliterated into nothing as the bright orange fireball finished doing its job.
Now, the earth slimes were no more as Kalle had scanned around the room and only found 5 of them.
After the death of the earth slimes, Kalle's mouth began to spread as he mentally patted himself on the back.
His guess about the slimes being able to communicate with each other and tell each other where the locations of their enemies mean one thing.
If the slime that was capable of detecting him was defeated, then the communication chain would break as they wouldn't be able to detect him anymore.
And that's exactly what had happened.
As soon as Kalle's Flame Bullet killed all the earth slimes, all the other elemental slimes became confused as they didn't know where their enemies were.
All the other slimes had limited detection range and they could only know their enemies' location if their location were close enough to them.
Without the earth slime that could use the earth to detect the enemy's presence using the ground beneath their feet, the slimes were as good as blind.
The slimes' confusion became Kalle's starting pistol as he summoned all the creatures to finally finish his crusade against the vile creatures.
"Grux! Betnulb! Goblin C! I summon you!"
"Staff, use 100 points to summon 2 goblin shamans, 2 goblin warriors, and 10 goblins!"
The ordinary goblins might not do much, but Kalle planned to do all he could to finish this once and for all, and that's what he did.
"Shamans! Cast your curses to all the elemental slimes in the room! The rest of you, hunt down any slimes your eyes se-"
Kalle's speech was cut short as the huge slime that had lost a huge part of its body finally returned with its round body again, but this time its body had turned green.
While Kalle was busy with the earth slimes, the car-sized slime had finished regenerating its body and even had swallowed one of the wind slimes to regain the extraordinary speed that it had used to kill Kalle before.
And this time, it might seem that Kalle would lose his second round as well as the huge green slime just suddenly appeared out of nowhere in front of him.
He could barely react to the green slime appearing and it had gathered mana to summon a wind blade to slash Kalle in half.
If Kalle died, then all his summon would disappear and there goes his second run of the slime dungeon.
Unfortunately for the huge slime though, Kalle was prepared this time.
"Edric! Save your daddy!"
