Chapter 41 - Ethan's Place

Olivia missed Ethan so much. Seeing him again made her feel like a piece of her heart had returned. She felt the energy between them as they stood, embracing each other. The heat from his body seared hers, and the energy built between them. She felt his fingers run up and down her back as he held her, pressing her body against his own.

He could feel her curves even through her clothing. She fit into him as if they were made for each other.

"You are killing me, Olivia," he said. The things I want to do to you, he whispered in her ear. Olivia shuddered.

"I'm ready for you, Ethan," she whispered back as she licked and kissed his Adam's apple. Ethan's musky, male scent filled her nostrils as she nuzzled against him. She let the smell wrap around her like a blanket while he held her close.

Ethan's body bore into hers while his tongue licked the shell of her ear. His full lips brushed against her as he spoke. Olivia felt the words drip down her neck and pool in her belly.

"Are you sure?" he asked, grazing her nipples with his hands.

"More than ready, Ethan," she responded in a daze.

Olivia's nipples were hard, and her clit went stiff as a bone, just like that, from just one touch. She was gushing, and her thighs were sticky as she imagined other parts of him. She felt like she'd just had an orgasm in slow motion, but now she needed more.

Ethan pulled away gently, and the space between them left Olivia feeling empty. He kissed her on her forehead.

"Come and have dinner at my place tonight," he said. "I need to clean up from traveling. I'll be back at 7 to pick you up."

"What should I wear?" Olivia asked.

"As little as possible," Ethan grinned as he walked out the door.

The doorbell rang precisely at 7 pm. Olivia wore a charming jean dress that buttoned down the front, giving her a casual yet stylish appearance. Underneath, she had a few surprises hidden away, just in case. She fervently hoped that her outfit wasn't too casual.

Ethan, dressed in jeans and a cozy sweater, stood at her door. He was a vision of casual elegance. As he leaned in to place a gentle kiss on her forehead, Olivia couldn't help but blush.

"Hello, beautiful," he greeted her warmly.

Olivia smiled up at him and responded, "Hello yourself."

Ethan looked at her with a twinkle in his eye. "Are you ready to go?" he asked, extending his arm for her.

Her excitement bubbled over. "More than ready," she replied. "I can't wait to see your place."

As they entered the elevator, Ethan pushed the button to go up, and Olivia furrowed her brow in confusion.

"Ethan, you pushed the wrong button," she said with a grin. "We should be heading down."

Ethan grinned back at her. "No," he said, "we're going to my place."

Olivia's eyes widened as she tried to process this new revelation. "Wait, you live in this building?" she asked in astonishment.

Ethan couldn't help but chuckle at her surprised expression. "Yes, I do," he said. "I thought I'd show you my place for a change. It's just a short elevator ride, and you'll be there."

The elevator doors opened on a penthouse floor, revealing a breathtaking view of the city's sparkling lights through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Olivia stood awestruck.

"Welcome to my humble abode," Ethan said, leading her inside.

Olivia was utterly captivated by the luxurious space. It was tastefully furnished with modern art gracing the walls and an open-concept design that created a sense of airiness. She couldn't contain her excitement.

"Ethan, this place is amazing!" she exclaimed. "I had no idea."

His smile showed he was delighted by her reaction. "I'm glad you like it. Make yourself at home," he said, leading her to a cozy living area. "Would you like a drink?"

Olivia nodded, and Ethan headed over to a well-stocked bar, preparing a couple of cocktails as they settled in.

Olivia raised an eyebrow playfully. "You have some explaining to do, mister," she teased.

Ethan chuckled, enjoying her playful demeanor. "Alright, ask away," he said.

"Why didn't you tell me you lived so close?" Olivia inquired curiosity and a hint of humor in her voice.

Ethan offered a sheepish grin. "I didn't want to scare you away," he admitted. "I thought it would be fun to surprise you."

Olivia laughed, appreciating his thoughtfulness. "Well, consider me surprised," she said.

Olivia couldn't help but be curious. "And what about my apartment?" she asked. "Do you own that too?"

Ethan leaned in, eager to explain. "Yes, I actually lived in that apartment when I was remodeling my penthouse," he confessed. "I decided to hold onto it when I moved back into the penthouse after the renovations were complete. I never thought it would be useful, but it has its perks now."

Olivia nodded, starting to see the genius in his plan. "Well, it's certainly convenient," she said, a playful twinkle in her eye. "I suppose you like having options, don't you?"

Ethan smiled and gently brushed a strand of hair away from Olivia's face. "You could say that. But the best option is having you here with me tonight."

Olivia blushed at his sweet words and leaned in to share another tender kiss with Ethan. The evening was off to an intriguing start, and they both looked forward to discovering what other surprises lay in store.
