Olivia noticed that maintenance workers seemed to have undergone quite the transformation these days. Standing at approximately 6 feet 2 inches, Drew had a physique that could only be described as robust and imposing. His tousled sandy blond hair perfectly framed a pair of striking green eyes, which stood out against his sun-kissed complexion. He effortlessly radiated a magnetic presence, dressed in fitted camo pants that accentuated his muscular legs and a bright orange shirt that hugged his torso.
Stunned by his appearance, Olivia found herself momentarily speechless, her gaze irresistibly drawn to this unexpected sight.
"Your water heater, ma'am?" Drew's voice broke the enchanting silence, and Olivia's dazed expression returned to the task at hand. Flustered but trying to regain her composure, she replied, "Oh, yes. Right this way."
Her laughter carried with it a mix of embarrassment and self-awareness. "It's been too long since I've been intimate," she thought, her mind drifting to desires and a longing that had quietly taken root in her. The presence of the attractive maintenance man had certainly stirred something within her, a spark that she hoped Ethan could soon fulfill.
Ethan's absence had left an undeniable void in her life, and she couldn't ignore the depth of her feelings for him. She missed him intensely, and the longing grew stronger with each passing moment. It was becoming crystal clear to her that she genuinely wanted him, not just in her life but in a more intimate way. If he was willing to explore that path with her, she was ready to take the next step, whatever that might entail.
Ethan
FOUR DAYS. It had been four days since he laid eyes on Olivia. Heard her voice. Smelled her intoxicating fragrance. The days felt excruciatingly long. Thoughts of her consumed him, and he found himself constantly distracted by the memories they shared. He couldn't help but dwell on the way she fidgeted, the radiant smile that lit up her face when she was genuinely happy, and her childlike, endearing expressions. The memories of their time together, especially when they watched the fireworks, played on repeat in his mind. The way her touch ignited a burning desire within him was a sensation he couldn't shake.
Ethan's yearning for Olivia was overwhelming. He often had the urge to pick up the phone and call her, but he resisted, hoping that their time apart would make her heart grow fonder. He knew that Olivia wanted him. He knew she wanted him to touch her, but he wanted her to be emotionally ready as well.
Ethan was a patient man. He was a man who would wait for what he wanted, and he wanted to give her a night she'd never forget. He imagined her sweet lips on his, his tongue licking hers, his breath deep and strong, hers soft and tentative as her willingness yielded to his need. The memory of her touch sent shivers down his spine. He remembers her soft hand cupping his face, her delicate fingers tracing his jawline as he kissed her. That kiss! An explosion of desire.
His hands run up and down her back as he pulls her body close to his, his muscles rippling with each….holy hell, man, where is your control? If he couldn't get his thoughts together, he would ravage her upon sight!
Ethan couldn't help but nervously think about their upcoming reunion. He wondered if Olivia would throw herself into his arms with an overwhelming embrace or if there would be a certain degree of awkwardness to navigate. He wanted to make the moment special and convey the depth of his feelings.
His solution was clear: he needed flowers. On his way home, he stopped at the local florist and carefully selected the largest and most beautiful bouquet he could find. Holding the flowers in his hands, he chuckled, thinking about how girls love these gestures. He was determined to make their reunion memorable.
Ethan acknowledged that he hadn't been in many relationships in his life and was certainly no expert on matters of the heart. But he was committed to one thing: making Olivia happy. He wanted to see her radiant smile, to bring joy into her life. The depth of his feelings was evident, and he was prepared to go to great lengths to ensure her happiness, even if it meant spending a small fortune to make it happen.
The mix of nervousness and excitement surged within him as he envisioned what he wanted to do with Olivia when they reunited.
Olivia
Having just opened the door to Drew, Olivia was caught off guard by another knock. Who could it be this time? Her mind raced with possibilities. But the sight that greeted her was the last thing she expected: Ethan standing there with a large bouquet of flowers.
"Hey, beautiful," Ethan greeted her with a sexy grin. "Did you miss me?"
"More than you know," Olivia responded with longing in her eyes. She had missed him terribly.
Ethan discarded the flowers on the floor with a mischievous glint in his eyes. He effortlessly lifted Olivia off the ground, placing a passionate kiss on her lips, promising more to come. Olivia responded with an appreciative groan.
Just as things were heating up, Drew came around the corner, blushing and stammering. "Um, sorry, ma'am," he said sheepishly; his timing couldn't have been worse.
Ethan felt a pang of jealousy as he looked at Drew. He had only been away for a few days, and a good-looking guy was already in Olivia's apartment. His initial enthusiasm was slightly dampened.
"Um," Ethan began, his tone betraying a mix of curiosity and possessiveness. "Olivia, who is this?"
Stammering slightly, Olivia quickly introduced Drew. "This is Drew," she said, "he's here to fix the water heater."
Ethan offered a curt nod to Drew.
Drew maintained his professionalism, explaining the situation. "I've temporarily fixed the water heater, but I'll need to install a part once it arrives. I'll give you a call to set up a time."
"Okay, thank you," Olivia said, smiling, acknowledging Drew's help. She saw him to the door, and as Drew left, Olivia closed the door behind him. It was just her and Ethan now, and the tension was tangible.
"What the hell, Olivia?" Ethan teased. "I've only been gone for a few days, and the wolves are already descending."
Olivia laughed at his possessiveness. "I just called the superintendent, and he sent Drew right over. I promise today was the first day I laid eyes on him," Olivia said. "Although," she teased, "it wasn't a bad sight."
Ethan laughed at Olivia's response. "I guess I'll have to keep an eye out for any wolves then," he said with a grin, appreciating her honesty. And internally, he made a note to contact the superintendent. The brief moment of jealousy was already dissipating as he focused on the fact that he was back home with Olivia.
He pulled her close, looking into her eyes. "I missed you," he said, his voice more serious and filled with genuine affection. "A lot."
Olivia smiled, feeling the warmth of his presence. "I missed you too," she replied, and at that moment, it was as if they had never been apart.
