F knocked on the door to B's office.
''Come in.'' B said.
F entered B's office.
''Hello F, what brings you here?'' B asked,
''How do I find N's office? I need to give her this report from K but I don't know where that place is. That and I also wanted to know if there are any missions I can go to?'' F asked.
''N's office? You need a special pass for that, I think I have a few in here.'' B said.
B oppened a file cabinet and took a key card from it. The card said -1.
''Here you go.'' B said and gave F the key card.
''Thanks, B. Are there any available missions I can take?'' F asked.
''Currently there are 7 missions, 5 of them are too dangerous for you so you have to pick between the two safe options.'' B said.
''What are they?'' F asked.
''One is a blob of slime and the other is a walking trash bag, choose whatever you like.'' B said.
''Slime, definetly slime.'' F said when he heard about the walking trash.
''Alright then, take this.'' B took out a folder and gave it to F.
''Those are its weaknesses and other things. Read it before heading out.'' B said.
''How do you know its weaknesses if you haven't killed it?'' F asked.
''Blobs are a common occurence.'' B said.
''I didn't know that.'' F said.
''Now you do. And before I forget, you need a partner for this mission. At least a level 4 exterminator.'' B reminded F.
''Isn't it grade 4?'' F asked.
''Level is accepted too.'' B said.
''Oh okay. I don't know any exterminators other than you, K and Erika.'' F said.
''Maybe you should ask her if she wants to come with you, she's a level 4 exterminator.'' B suggested.
''I can do that, I just have to give those to N. Thanks for the mission, B.'' F said.
''You're welcome.'' B replied.
F left B's office. He entered the elevator and swiped the key card on ''Floor -1''. The elevator took him to floor -1 and he looked for N's office.
''Now where is the curse research office?'' F asked himsself.
F walked around, trying to find the curse research office. After 2 minutes of looking around he found the office.
''This must be it.'' F said and knocked on the door.
''Come in.'' A voice said.
F entered the office. He saw a woman with blonde hair and brown eyes printing something.
"Excuse me, is this N's office?'' F asked.
''Yes, this is my office. What's the purpose of your visit?'' N said.
''Submitting a curse report on the Hammerhead Death Worm.'' F said and gave her the report.
''Death Worm? That one was assigned to K and someone else, I think it was some new guy.'' N said.
''That's me, I'm F, I killed the worm.'' F said.
''You did? Good job.'' N said and clapped her hands.
''Thanks, N.'' F said.
''You're welcome, F. Is that your report?'' N asked.
''No, it's K's, he's busy with a captain meeting so I'm giving it instead.'' F said.
''What do you mean by that?'' N asked.
''One of the other captains came to inform him of an important meeting and they left together.'' F said.
''Ah yes, that meeting. I suppose I should get going too then.'' N said.
''You're a captain too?'' F asked.
''Yes, I'm the captain of divison 4 but I only do research.'' N said.
''You're still a captain though.'' F said.
''I sure am.'' N said and got up took the report. She put it on her desk and grabbed her keys.
"I'll read it later, I have a meeting to attend.'' N said.
N and F left the office and N locks the door. They went inside the elevator. F pressed the second floor button.
"I gotta go get some weapons for my next mission.'' F said.
''You have a new mission already? Quite impressive. What are you exterminating today?'' N asked.
''A blob.'' F said, disappointed with his mission.
''Those are pretty dangerous so be careful.'' N said.
''I'll be careful.'' F said.
The elevator reached the second floor and F left.
"Bye,N!'' F said as he left the elevator.
''Goodbye.'' N said.
F went to the armory and knocked on the door.
"Hey it's me! I need a weapon, please.'' F said.
Erika opened the door and let F inside.
''What kind of weapon do you need, F?'' Erika asked.
''I need something that hits hard and kills blobs.'' F said.
''A rocket launcher? No wait, you can't use those. I can give you a grenade.'' Erika rambled
''Will that kill the blob?'' F asked.
''Probably not, that's why you can have 5 grenades.'' Erika said.
''I also need a partner in this mission, can you come with me?'' F asked.
''Me?! On a mission?! YES! YES I WANT TO JOIN YOU!'' Erika said in excitement.
''Let's go kill a blob then.'' F said.
''Yes!'' Erika replied and followed him.
F and Erika went to the blob's location. They looked at the alleyway where the monster was last seen, seeing that it's narrow and a blob would easily be stuck in it. They're surprised, however that the blob was nowhere to be seen. They looked at the rooftops of the surrounding buildings to see if the blob washiding there.
''It's gone?'' Erika said in confusion.
''We should look around, it should be close.'' F said.
''I can't sense it's energy, can you sense it, F?'' Erika asked.
''I can't sense it either. Something is off.'' F said.
''Blobs are bad at hiding themselves so this one isn't alone.'' Erika said.
''Another monster?'' F asked.
''No, it's most likely a curse user, we have to dispose of them first.'' Erika siad.
''They will reveal themselves when we least expect them, we have to be careful.'' F said.
''I can use my curse to lure them out, prepare to use your gas mask, F.'' Erika said.
''Roger that!'' F said and put on the gas mask. Erika took her jacket off and gave it to him.
''Gas trap''
The area was quickly filled with poisonous gas, suddenly, two figures in white jumped out of the gas mist onto the rooftop of a building. The two figures, a tall one with a black mask and a short one with a cat mask, looked down at the gas mist and the two exterminators in it. The short figure, a young woman, looked at her subordinate.
''Kill them.'' The woman said.
The tall figure raised his hands, an orb of ptich black, pure cursed energy was formed.

The orb of darkness blasted through the gas and into the ground, creating a crater. F grabbed Erika and started running away.
"'That motherfucker started speaking Japanese, we gotta get the fuck out of here!'' F said.
''HIS GOOGLE TRANSLATE ATTACKS ARE TOO STRONG!'' Erika said.
The black orb exploded, completely destroying the building next to it and half of the one behind it. The figures looked at the building they were standing on, realizing that its roof was about to collapse. They jumped away from the building, landing on the ground.
''Next time aim better, you could've killed us.'' The woman said and punched the man in the shoulder. The man didn't react.
Before the figure with the black mask could say anything, he was hit with a traffic sign thrown by F. His subordinate dodged the second one and laughed.
''Did you really think that could hit me? You're a dumbass.'' The woman said.
As she said that, the woman was attacked by Erika with a cursed axe. Erika tried to hit the woman in the head but she dodged out of the way. Erika swung the axe again, but the woman dodged the attack and tried to kick her. Erika blocked the kick with her axe and tried to hit the woman again. The woman dodged again and tried to gouge out Erika's eyes. Erika dodged the attack and tried to kick the woman but she backflipped away. Erika swung her axe again, this time aiming for the woman's legs. The woman dodged but the axe's curse activated, sending sparks flying everywhere. The sparks hit the woman in the face, blinding her for a moment, Erika used that opening to hit the woman in the stomach. The axe tore into the woman's stomach, leaving the woman with a gaping wound, her guts spilling in her hands as she desperately tried to stop the bleeding.
''Two down, we just have to find the blob.'' Erika said.
F nodded and took his mask off.
''Yeah, just one blob. Let's find it, it should be easier with those two dead, no one left to hide the blob's energy.'' F said and tried to find the blob's energy.

''What the?! F, LOOK OUT!'' Erika screamed.
A beam of black curse energy hit F, destroying the road and pieces of the building behind him. F's hands were smoking, his suit's sleeves fell off. F spat out some blood and smiled.
''I'm fine, I just have to finish him off.'' F said.
Black mask got up and ripped his robe's sleeves off. He ripped the rest of it's upper half and looks at F before throwing the ball of cloth at him.
''He cursed his robe?! I have to dodge!'' F jumped to the side, dodging the cloth ball.

The man started firing dark energy bullets at F like a machine gun, F grabbed one of the traffic signs and used it as a shield. The cursed bullets tore through the steel in seconds but F had already closed the distance, punching his opponent in the face.
''Take that, asshole!'' F said.
The man swung at F but he dodged it and punched him twice. F laughed at his opponent.
''What's up, big guy? Am I too fast for you?'' F taunted.
The man tried to kick F but he dodged again and punched him three times. F laughed.
"Holy shit, you really are that slow!'' F taunted again.
The man threw a flurry of punches at F but he easily dodged them. F kicked the man in the knee.
''You really have no other gimmicks, that means you're gonna die now.'' F said.
F went for a punch the man's subordinate somehow comes back to life to attack him.
''Gotcha!'' The woman said and tried to punch F in the face.
F dodged the woman's punch and kicked her into the man. He smiled and pointed at the ground.
''Look at this.'' he said and pointed down.
His opponents looked at the ground and saw the grenade in front of them. F punched the ground, sending a piece of the road flying upwards. F grabbed it and jumped back as the grenade exploded, shielding himself from the explosion. He got up fterwards and gave a thumbs up to Erika.
"They're dead now.'' F said.
''How did you know that the girl was alive?'' Erika asked.
''No curse user just wears a cat mask for no reason. I thought about it and I figured that she either has super agility or 9 lives. After seeing her dodge the sign I threw I thought she had super agility but she somehow couldn't dodge you she just died. It occured to me that she might have 9 lives but that's too good to be true so I figured that it's more likely that she can cheat death when activating her ability. She did that instead of dodging you because even if she dodged she would have lost a limb and fighting with one arm is worse than having to revive. She was already losing so losing an arm and without it she'd just die 8 more times and it would be rather quickly. I also think that her mask was amping her energy so that she could revive more times. That's why I baited her by toying with her partner. The grenade was to test if she could come back after the mask is destroyed.''
''Wow...you thought about all of this in a less than a minute?!'' Erika asked in shock.
''I just couldn't believe she died from a single direct hit so I came up with a plan. It would've been awful if she got up and killed us from behind, right?'' F said.
''Right...'' Erika said.
Suddenly Erika and F felt the blob's presence. The blob dropped down from a building, crashing in front of the two exterminators. F looked at the blob in disappointment.
''Let's get this over with.'' F said.
''On it.'' Erika jumped into the air and activated her cursed axe. She sliced at the blob but it split into tiny blobs and they ran away. Erika chased a few of the blobs and tried to kill them with her axe. One small blob snuck around F and ate the corpses of the curse users. The blob grew in size and changed from blue to black. The small blobs turned black and flew towards the big one. F and Erika caught a few of them but the rest got absorbed by the large blob. The blob grew even bigger and shot acid balls at F and Erika. F grabbed Erika and and hid behind the big piece of the road he used to shield himself from the explosion. The acid started dissolving it so F picked Erika up and ran away. Erika grabbed F's grenades and threw them in the air.
''Take my axe and hit the grenades!'' Erika said.
''On it!'' F took the axe and used it as a bat to hit the grenades towards the blob. The spark curse activated as the axe connected to the grenades, sending them flying at an incredible speed at the blob. The grenades got absorbed too but they exploded and destroyed the blob's body.
''WE DID IT, F!'' Erika said.
''Yeah, we did.'' F said.
Erika gave F a fist bump but it's a bit awkward because she was still sitting on his shoulders. F put Erika back on the ground and he gave her a proper fist bump.
''That's for a job well done.'' F said.
''We should celebrate.'' Erika suggested.
''How about we get some ice cream?'' Fasked.
''I love ice cream, let's go buy some!'' Erika said.
F and Erika started looking for a nearby store to buy ice cream. They suddenly heard an ice cream truck. Erika went to the truck.
"Hi there, can we have ice cream?'' Erika asked.
''What flavor?'' The ice cream man
''Strawberry and uhhh...what flavor do you want F?'' Erika asked.
''Chocolate.'' F said.
"And chocolate.'' Erika said.
''Five bucks.'' The ice cream man said.
Erika pulled out some coins and gave them to the ice cream guy.
''Here you go. It was a pleasure doing business with you, mr. ice cream man.'' Erika said.
The ice cream truck drove off. Erika gave F the chocolate ice cream.
''Here you go, F.'' Erika gave F the ice cream.
''Thanks.'' F said.
The two exterminators sat on a bench and enjoyed their ice cream.
''We should go on more missions together. What do you think, F?'' Erika asked.
''Yeah we should. Working with you is fun.'' F said.
''You think it's fun to be with me?'' Erika asked.
''Yeah, you're fun to be around. You're good at exterminating and I have fun talking to you about weapons and suits. What I'm saying is that we get along well and we should keep working together.'' F said.
''Yeah...'' Erika looked disappointed.
''I hoped that we can be friends, not just colleagues.'' Erika said.
''Aren't we friends? I thought that we.'' F asked.
''Well we never said anything about that so I thought that we weren't friends yet.'' Erika replied.
''That makes sense, I should've asked you if we were friends earlier.'' F said.
''It's alright, we both made stupid mistakes.It's not entirely your fault.'' Erika said.
''Well it's not your fault for not asking either, we're just bad at this.'' F said.
''Erika and F, having a cringeworthy little date, how sad.'' T said, somehow sitting in the middle of the bench.
'''T?! When did you sit here? How?'' Erika screeched in absolute shock.
''Erika, please, I'm just good at sitting on benches.'' T said.
''Wait, when did you get here?! Aren't you supposed to be on a very important meeting?'' F asked.
''The meeting was short, thankfully. Anyway, I'm here to warn you. The white-clad curse users are becoming a bigger problem than before. It seems that they are not afraid of attacking us anymore. I believe that they have found a powerful weapon and that's why they're attacking us. They believe we can't beat their strongest weapon but I doubt it's something impressive. Just be careful on your way home, otherwise your date with end with someone's death.''T got up and prepares to leave.
''Oh and one more thing.''
T put his hand on F's shoulder
"Sleep with the lights on, that way their anomalies can't enter your house. That goes for the both of you.''
T waved goodbye and walks away. The sun slowly began to set, it's light turning crimson. F looked at his watch.
''Shit, I won't make it home in time. I don't want to fight anomalies on my way home!''
Erika looked at F and smiled.
''You can stay at my place, that would be fun. What do you think F?'' Erika asked.
''Sure, I don't mind coming over as long as you're alright with it.'' F said.
''Then it's settled, you're coming with me.''
The exterminators got up and started walking towards Erika's apartment.
