Chapter 2 - Chapter 7 - HER Acceptance

"How are you feeling?", Osanna's dad asked her his face so full of guilt at what had almost happened to to his baby girl. Osanna couldn't answer instead she started crying again, she was so confused and distraught not only because of what was about to happen but because her family had kept her in the dark. "How could you guys do this to me, I thought family was supposed to tell each other everything? why did you guys keep me in the dark? I thought we were family!! she lamented and continued crying. "We are very sorry baby, we didn't want to see you get hurt like this that's why we wanted to tell you when you got older, we didn't want you to find out like this either please stop crying and let us talk" her mom said.

After some time Osanna calmed down and her parents spoke calmly to her. They advised her to protect herself as a girl and that she should not allow what had happened in the past to define her present or future. Her parents gave her a lot of positive talks and Osanna understood all they had said. At the end she hugged her both parents and thanked them for being the best.

Later that evening the Williams went out to clear the tension. They first went to the state rollercoaster park which the children loved so much after that they went to a restaurant to eat and later to an icecream shop; Osanna was so much in love with icecream so it was sure to light up her mood. The children giggled and played with each other so much, they had a whole lot of fun, their parents were so elated to see that what had happened did not hurt them so much.

The next day was a Saturday so the whole family was around. Osanna sat in the room, she was thinking so much of what would have happened if she actually got raped. She knelt down and prayed to God thanking him for saving her and prayed for him to heal her mind. Though Osanna didn't want to admit it she had been mentally scarred and it would take time for her to heal, she did not want to discuss it with anyone again so it won't bring back bad memories or hurt her family. Though Osanna was very young she had mastered putting others before herself. She became very weary of men and her self confidence crippled but Osanna was intelligent and she was not going to let that one incident determine her life.

Later that day, Victor's parents called Mr Williams and told him that Victor had come back to the house, they begged and begged for him to forgive Victor and talk him back. "I'm sorry Ma but I can't do that, you don't know what your Son almost cost me. You should be grateful I don't have any intention of coming to arrest him. He should just be careful not to repeat the same thing elsewhere, he could get arrested for real". Mr Williams replied them and ended the call.
