The area on Fifth Avenue was located in the Level-10 monster zone of Doomsday City. Prior to the doomsday, this was arguably the busiest street in the whole city. Of course, it was also one of the most severely devastated places after the disaster hit.
Guided by an electronic map, Ma Jiang and his two companions began rushing toward this location. As a Hunt and Kill Squad that had been surviving in the Gathering Area 101, Ma Jiang's team had embarked on similar hunting missions more than once before. However, this mission proved to be their most devastating, as they lost two members while being transported through the Transmission Array.
If Ma Jiang had known the outcome, he certainly would not have accepted this mission.
