"Super Merry!!"
With a powerful pull, Franky whipped away the white cloth, unveiling the ship in all its grandeur. His voice rang out with pride as he addressed Luffy: "If you're going to be the Pirate King one day, then let this ship take you there!"
In an instant, the ship appeared before everyone, radiating an almost blinding brilliance. If their beloved original, the Golden Merry, had earned a solid 100 out of 100 in their hearts, this version was off the charts—a spectacular 100,000,000 out of 100.
Nami gazed at the colossal ship, awestruck, whispering, "Is this... really a ship?" She could hardly believe her eyes, marveling at the vessel that looked more like a small island, complete with an unmistakable aura of power.
Meanwhile, Luffy's attention was fixated on the bow. "Whoa! It's a lion!" he exclaimed, unable to resist the urge to jump aboard and claim his spot on the throne atop the fierce lion's head.
Usopp's gaze shifted to the hull, where he noticed a mechanism resembling a windmill. A grin crossed his face as he pieced it together: "So that's why this ship doesn't need sails!" Having studied Enel's Ark Maxim, he recognized the technology that powered the ship, yet he didn't feel a hint of sadness. Franky may have completely transformed Merry's appearance, but Usopp knew that, deep down, it was still the same ship they loved.
Bai Ye observed the ship with approval, nodding thoughtfully. "Now that's a ship worthy to be a kingdom's finest weapon."
Seeing the larger, mightier, and more awe-inspiring version of the Merry, Bai Ye knew that all their effort had been worthwhile.
As everyone stood admiring the stunning new ship, Franky grinned mischievously, "Hold on! Merry's got even more surprises for you! Let's see her other forms!"
With those words, a door in the air appeared, and through it stepped a figure everyone recognized yet seemed somehow different. "Ta-da~ The brand-new Merry has arrived!" called out a cheerful voice. Emerging from the doorway was a girl who looked a lot like Merry's previous ship spirit, but slightly older and changed, as if she, too, had matured along with the ship.
Robin raised an eyebrow and mused, "Could it be that as the ship upgrades, so does the ship spirit?"
Merry nodded, rubbing the back of her head shyly. "You got it, Robin! I've leveled up too."
Then, she announced, "Alright, let me show you the first transformation of the new Merry! Behold: Sky Transformation!" Merry brought her hands together and closed his eyes in focus.
As if responding to his command, the Super Merry began to shift and reconfigure. Pieces clicked and rotated, just like one of Franky's mechanical transformations. Franky, watching with pride, eagerly explained, "Thanks to Master Tom's modular design and the blueprint from Ark Maxim, I finally created a form that can truly soar through the sky."
In mere moments, the Super Merry took on a sleek, streamlined shape, resembling a modern aircraft more than a ship. Where the Ark Maxim was like a floating hot air balloon, the new version looked capable of slicing through clouds with ease.
Luffy was beside himself with joy, practically bouncing in place. "Wow! This is amazing!"
The rest of the crew shared in his excitement, even Zoro cracked a rare smile as he looked at the sky-ready ship before them.
Seeing everyone's astonished faces, Merry beamed with pride. "Alright, now for the final transformation of the Super Merry! Presenting… the Diving Form!"
As she spoke, the Super Merry began to shift once again. The ship transformed, morphing into a sleek, streamlined shape, reminiscent of a powerful sea creature, ready to dive beneath the waves. In this form, the hull gleamed like scales, designed to cut smoothly through the water.
Luffy's eyes sparkled with excitement at the thought. "We can dive underwater? That means we can explore the ocean floor, catch fish, and eat them right there!" he exclaimed, already daydreaming of all the fresh seafood he could find.
With the three forms complete—the standard sailing mode, the sky-flying mode, and the diving mode—the Super Merry was truly a marvel. The crew couldn't wait any longer and rushed aboard, eager to explore their new floating home.
The first thing they noticed was the spaciousness. The previous Merry, though cozy, was a humble three-masted ship with just enough room for them to rest. But now, as they stepped onto the deck, they marveled at how much it felt like an entire world in itself.
Franky had even laid down a layer of soft grass over part of the deck, making it feel like a patch of land in the middle of the sea. Luffy wasted no time and rolled across it, laughing with pure joy. "It's like having our own little island!" he shouted.
Franky, seeing their reactions, grinned. "I made different areas on the deck so everyone can enjoy it in their own way," he explained. He pointed out a sunbathing area, perfect for lazy days under the sun, a picnic spot complete with a barbecue setup, and a grove where Nami's cherished orange trees now thrived.
And then, Franky proudly gestured to a corner where a special training zone awaited Zoro. Equipped with weights and various equipment, it was the perfect place for him to continue his intense workouts.
Walking across the deck, everyone marveled at the towering five-story structure before them, each floor brimming with promise. The sheer scale and elegance of the new Super Merry left the crew awestruck, and even Usopp couldn't help but think back to the old two-story bungalow on the original Merry, which now seemed modest in comparison.
The first floor was lined with crew quarters, each room spacious and thoughtfully designed. Franky had placed Luffy's captain's room and Bai Ye's vice-captain's room right in the center, making them larger than the others. When Franky explained this arrangement, no one objected—they all agreed it was fitting.
The individual rooms felt luxurious, a step up from what they were used to. Nami and Robin were especially delighted to find private bathrooms in their rooms, an unexpected but much-welcomed touch of comfort. Franky had even prepared extra rooms for future guests or new crewmates, adding a sense of possibility to their journey ahead.
After everyone explored their rooms, they eagerly moved up to the second floor. This level housed specialized training rooms, equipped to meet the crew's various needs. Usopp's room, fitted with targets and a range for sniper practice, had him grinning from ear to ear. A large shared training space took up much of the floor, where Bai Ye would lead their team training sessions. Despite the impressive setup, some of them couldn't resist quickly moving up to the third floor, anticipating more surprises.
The third floor, though smaller in area, held something particularly special: an expansive kitchen, double the size of the one on the Baratie. It was fully equipped, each detail clearly designed with Sanji in mind. As they toured, they also came upon a room that sparked immediate excitement—the Food Hall.
