After 5 hours of flying around on Fusaki's back Ryu and Kiyomi reached konoha as Fusaki landed right in front of the huge gates of konoha spooking the two gate gaurds and people walking nearby inside the village who looked curiously at Fusaki, prompting the dragon to release a loud growl scaring the civilians who hurriedly went back to their work.
On the entire way Kiyomi had been bombarding him with questions about the leaf village and the uchiha clan, from what Kiyomi had told him she knew a little bit of taijutsu and kenjutsu and could make ice shurikens and kunais but couldn't control her lava release all of which was taught to her by her mother.
And also for the first time ever in his life someone had called his sharingan beautiful which he had shown to her when she started asking about the uchiha clan.
Upon climbing down from Fusaki's back Ryu gave a little pat on its snout and said,
"Thank you for helping me Fusaki"
However he was kinda suprised when even Kiyomi gave the dragon a small bow saying,
"Thank you for your trouble Fusaki-san"
Making the dragon look at Kiyomi and give a small growl of approval and saying in a low voice,
"I like this girl, Ryu"
Before Fusaki vanished in a puff of smoke, just then the two gate gaurds approached him seeing the scary yellow dragon gone and one of them asked,
"So you're back from your mission Ryu, and who is your companion?"
Hearing this Kiyomi looked at the gaurds but kept quiet as Ryu had instructed her not to say anything to anyone until they talk with the hokage while Ryu just stepped beside her and said,
"Ah her name is Kiyomi, she's quite an 'interesting' person I think hokage sama would like to meet"
The two chunin gaurds looked curiously at Kiyomi trying to figure out what Ryu meant but didn't succeed so they just nodded and Ryu and his companion pass through the gates.
Upon walking the streets of konoha and seeing so many happy people just laughing around, which was rare to find in kirigakure, Kiyomi couldnt help but look at her surroundings in excitement and awe as the pair continued to walk towards the hokage tower with Kiyomi tightly holding his hand kind of nervous seeing so many people just carelessly walking around.
This made most of the people, who recognise Ryu by his iconic violet hair, look at Kiyomi in curiosity and start whispering among themselves about 'young love' which Ryu had heard with his powerful hearing making his eyebrow twitch in annoyance while Kiyomi looked oblivious to the looks she was recieving quite busy in taking in the beauty of the hokage monument which was surrounded in an orangish glow of the evening.
Just then Ryu quickly made a shadow clone which suprised Kiyomi and the clone vanished in thin air further amazing the Yuki girl.
-With the shadow clone-
The shadow clone appeared at the uchiha clan gates from where he quickly asked about Kagami and went to the uchiha police headquarters where the clan head was supposed to be. As the shadow clone of Ryu entered the headquarters and went to knock on the office door of Kagami who said from inside,
"Come in"
As the Ryu clone entered the office to see Kagami sitting calmly in his chair and looked at him as if asking his purpose for coming here.
Seeing this Ryu told Kagami everything that has happened on his latest mission and about Kiyomi. At the end Kagami had small frown and asked,
"So, you're telling me that you bought a Yuki clan member from Kiri who can use both ice and lava release back to konoha knowing that tensions are high between the villages?"
"Hai Kagami oji-san"
Making Kagami sigh and rub his tempels saying,
"Ryu this could be really bad for you and your Shinobi career, what do you even want me to do here?"
As Ryu just nodded and replied seriously,
"I know it could be bad but couldn't find it in myself to leave her there to starve and die, as for what I request of you Kagami sama is that you make her an horonary uchiha clan member"
Making Kagami's frown deeper and ask with a strict tone,
"And why would I do that you know that to someone an horonary uchiha he/she needs to have the approval of majority of the active uchihas"
However this made Ryu smirk slightly as he had already anticipated this statement from Kagami and then Ryu replied,
"I think that they can be easily convinced for if Kiyomi was to be made an honorary member of the clan she would most likely marry within the uchiha and thus gifting the uchiha clan with ice and lava release and take it from me you are underestimating Kiyomi's potential"
Hearing Ryu's suggestion surely did suprise Kagami who simply laughed softly and shook his head saying,
"Ok ok Ryu I think that'll do the job"
While thinking in amazement,
'Now I know why you named him 'Ryu' Naori he's exactly like one cunning, powerful and stubborn'
While Ryu also thought to himself,
'Hmm perhaps the tactical lessons with Sakumo sensei really paid out'
Before giving the clan head a respectful bow and the shadow clone then dispelled in a puff of smoke.
Just as the shadow clone dispelled there was knock at Kagami's door which opened to show an crow masked anbu their who said,
"Uchiha sama, hokage sama had kept a emergency council meeting your presence is required there"
-A couple minutes earlier-
As Ryu and Kiyomi reached the tall hokage tower, both entered there and Ryu led the white haired girl through the stairs, when they arrived at the door of hokage's office he looked at receptionist and said ,
"I need to make a important mission report"
"Go on in Ryu, hokage sama had told me to let you in whenever you came back"
As he nodded and the duo walked in through the door to see Hiruzen standing in front of the large windows showing the entire village, while seemingly thinking about something.
As Hiruzen looked back to see Ryu and suprisingly a little white haired girl looking the same age as Ryu although the uchiha was little taller than the girl, as hiruzen observed her Kiyomi was really nervous seeing she was standing before the third hokage who was said to be the strongest kage in among the five.
As Hiruzen smiled at the girls nervousness and asked,
"Good job on the mission Ryu you managed to get us very important information but we can talk about that later, who is this little friend of yours?"
As Ryu just nodded gratefully and spoke,
"Thank you hokage-sama this is Kiyomi Yuki"
Hearing the surname 'Yuki' Hiruzen was somewhat suprised, seeing her name being brought up Kiyomi stepped forward and gave a respectful bow to the hokage before introducing herself and going on to explain her story to Hiruzen, this time without crying but her sadness and despair in her emerald was evident to both Ryu and Hiruzen.
After Kiyomi finished her part, there was a small deep frown on Hiruzen's face who said while sighing sadly,
"I see I'm sorry for you loss Kiyomi chan but for now you're welcome in the hidden leaf village, I'll hold a council meeting and see what I can do"
Seeing this Ryu was satisfied and nodded before escorting Kiyomi out of the hokage office.
While both of them were walking on the streets of konoha a worried Kiyomi couldn't help but ask him,
"Ryu kun w..what if they decide to send me back to Kiri in this meeting?"
Making him smile reassuringly and pat her head saying,
"Dont worry about that Kiyomi you should know I have already informed about you to the uchiha clan head who is like my uncle and is one the strongest shinobi in the village, now come on I'll show my house"
Hearing this really elevated Kiyomi's worries who just smiled at him and nodded and held his hand more firmly as both of them towards the uchiha clan district.
Upon entering the clan district Kiyomi just looked at everything with amazement afterall the uchiha clan district was the biggest clan district in konoha. As both entered his house Kiyomi couldn't help but comment,
"Wow your house is so beautiful Ryu kun"
Making him shake history head and reply,
"It was left to me by my kaa san"
Hearing this Kiyomi had a sad smile on her face because he had already told her all about his mother, as the Yuki replied,
"Your kaa san was an amazing and powerful woman Ryu kun I hope I can be like her when I grow up"
Hearing this Ryu just patted her head softly making her blush softly.
After giving Kiyomi a tour of the house, both of them freshened up and changed into casual clothes, he went to the kitchen and started to cook his special fish delicacy for dinner while Kiyomi just watched and learned how to cook.
After half an hour both had finished eating and it was already 10 in the night and just as he had finished washing the plates in which Kiyomi also helped, he saw a crow knocking on his window, knowing it was Kagami's summon he took the crow in and unfurled the scroll tied to its leg while Kiyomi just looked with nervousness eteched on her face.
After he sent away the crow and burned scroll he looked at Kiyomi and said placing a hand on her head with a small smile on his face,
" Congratulations Kiyomi Yuki you are now an honorary member of the uchiha clan and have been allowed residence inside the uchiha clan compound"
Hearing Ryu's words Kiyomi's eyes brimmed with tears and she nodded with the happiest smile on her face. As he softly wiped the tears from her fair cheeks and took her upstairs where he had already sent an shadow clone to set up a futon for him to sleep in, while sending Kiyomi to his room even after her series of protest.
As he said goodnight to Kiyomi who once again thanked him for everything he has done for her before he went to the spare room and laid down on his futon with his hands behind his head thinking,
'Now that this is over with, I need to start preparing for the chunin exams especially for the jinchuriki, hopefully Kagami oji-san or Sakumo sensei have some answers'
