While heading to the truck my phone is going off. As I look down to see who the caller is, my face turns bright red when Zac's name is on the screen. Picking up the call I answer " Hello" and then he speaks " Hey Annmera, I was wondering if you would have time to talk?" I wonder what he wants to talk about. " Umm yeah I have time to talk, I just got out of school so I'm heading home. We can talk until then if that's ok?"
Starting the truck I drive out of the school's parking lot talking on speakerphone with Zac. Maybe I can ask why he called or will that sound like I don't want to talk to him… I guess it can't hurt to ask " Zac can I ask why you called?" It goes silent for a few seconds then he responds " Oh umm I wanted to see how your day was and get to know more about you. Was now a bad time?" This man is something else " Oh well my day was good just really long. Teaching 11th graders is a tough job sometimes haha. How was your day? And it's a good time, I was just hoping everything was okay that's all." As he speaks I can hear how happy he is. We talk for a while until I finally pull up to the house. We say our goodbyes and I walk to the door.
Opening the door, I'm greeted by Becca " Hey Sis how was your day?" She seems kinda off today " Hey and it was great. How was your day sis?" She gives me a half smile saying " Oh it was good just long." " Becca, are you okay? You seem kinda upset and off today. Do you want to talk about it?" She looks at me as if she wants to say something but just says " I'm okay, like I said it was just a long day and I guess it kinda wore me out." She doesn't want to talk about it now well I guess I just have to wait cause I don't want to push or interrogate her. She'll come when she's ready. Maybe making her favorite meal will help " Becca since you had a long day, how about I make you fettuccine alfredo? Your favorite!!" "That sounds good, i'mma take a shower and lay down for a few if that's okay" "No problem, I'll start cooking and call you when it's ready. Is Logan coming over for dinner?" She freezes in her tracks " Umm no he's not coming tonight. He'll be busy for a while so he won't be around for a while" " Oh okay, well I'll get you when dinner is ready."
Maybe she's upset cause she won't see him for a while, or did they get into a fight? Ugh, I can't focus on that, she'll tell me when she is ready, all I need to do is find ways to cheer her up and her favorite meal is just the start. Cooking in the kitchen I decided to make her favorite dessert(Apple Pie). As soon as I finish I go to her room, knocking on the door with no answer I slowly open the door to find her asleep. Walking toward the bed, I nudge her saying " Becca dinner is ready" She sits up rubbing her eyes saying "Okay thanks for waking me up". We went to the kitchen to eat our dinner, afterward, we watched our favorite movies and then said goodnight to each other.
I hope that cheered Becca up! Brushing my teeth my phone dings, I have two messages one from Logan and the other from Zac. Let's see what Logan has to say first, opening the message it says "Is Becca okay? She's not responding to my messages and I want to apologize for being an idiot last night!" Oh, so they got into a fight " She's kinda down and upset but won't tell me what happened. My advice figure out how to make it better. I'mma stay out of this and let you two work things out. Maybe you just need to give her some time." Seeing the typing dots at the bottom of my screen he responds with " Thanks Annmera! I'll work it out. Later."
They will work things out I just know it. Those two have been threw a lot together and this will be no different. After finishing the conversation with Logan, I go to Zack's message. He hopes my night went well and just wants to talk. Responding to his message we end up texting til 3 am in the morning until we finally say goodnight, thank goodness it's the weekend. After waking up later that day I spend more time with my Sis and just have a relaxing weekend. She's getting messages but ignoring them so they must be from Logan it's okay they just need some time or so I thought.
