The next day:
Sharon was almost settled into her apartment, the only thing which was missing was her bed which she said 'I forgot' when Michael asked about it which is the reason she had slept in Michael's apartment instead. And she swore it wasn't because she wanted him to make breakfast for her in the morning.
Which we all know is a blatant lie.
The moment she stepped out of the apartment she wished she could die by who she saw right in front of her once again.
It was Frank, 'once again'.
It was about time she consulted her father about this.
"I know what your planning, don't even think about it or I will tell him about your real relationship with Michael." said Frank. Of course he knew what his betrayer of a sister was thinking. Involving their father is the one thing he cannot escape from, the man could ruin him if he wanted.
Sharon shrugged her shoulders at him and then asked, "Why are you here Frank? I thought you finally died somewhere in a ditch."
"Good morning to you too Sharon, you cleaned up well today." answered Frank without even as much as bashing an eye-lid towards what Sharon had said.
Sharon did not take his perfunctory reply to heart and pushed at him with, "I'm serious Frank, why did you follow me here? I know you left the Country five years back, so why are you back here?"
"M.E.I Bank may be sold" said Frank with an unreadable expression on his face.
Sharon's eyes turned cold for a second before they were back to normal again and she simply said, "Give me a lift to the Cezar Headquaters, I think I might help you out with something."
With that the two of them then headed towards his car and drove off immediately.
In the car:
"You know that M.E.I Bank is not the only Bank in the entire Country right? But you can't say something that sensitive as if it's nothing. What prof do you have about this anyway?" said Sharon a few minutes after she was settled in her seat.
Although she hadn't kept much notice about what is going on in the business sector as well as the Government, M.E.I is a highly important aspect for her as well as her career.
"There is a Private Equity that has been rumored to have ideas of buying the Bank, why do you think I would leave my comfortable space and come back here to this god-forsaken country if it wasn't an emergency." said Frank with a matter-of-fact kind of tone.
A dark glint passed through Alicia's eyes as she then said, "When and who decided this news was true Frank? I need you to be specific with me. What exactly is going on with the Basel III Capital Adequacy Ratio of M.E.I Bank?"
Still looking straight ahead Frank simply answered him with, " Sharon, the Ratio has dropped to 6.1%, you know what this means right?"
A smile broke through her icy face as she then said, "This might be involved with the sudden almost bankrupcy of the Andrew Corporation. But what does not make sense to me is how this benefits them if they needed external Capital to survive on their on. Unless, ....."
This time Frank looked away from the road for a few moments as he gazed lightly at his sister and said, "You have an idea how this can be solved?"
Sharon simply said, "I know how we can postpone the matter for now, but M.E.I bank might need to meet with a few of their rivals if they want to remain. This may be an Economical crisis if not dealt with properly."
As a result of trying to change the subject Frank then said, "By the way, why do you have to work as an intern? do you know how tiring that is?"
Sharon scoffed at him and said, "How would you even know? You fraud."
