Chapter 31 - Three Hours Rule

Seraphina, a character from the eroge visual novel "My Harem Monster," held the title of the leader of the Angel Sect and the mightiest monster.

Her ultimate skill, "Heavenly Featherstorm," was legendary. It involved a thousand feathers separating from her wings, transforming into blades sharper than swords and faster than arrows.

These ethereal feathers not only rained down upon enemies but also absorbed their dark magic, converting it into holy magic.

The culmination of both magics within an enemy's body resulted in a spectacular explosion, ensuring immediate demise. While it did require a hefty amount of MP, that wasn't a concern anymore.

I couldn't fathom why Seraphina hadn't unleashed this ultimate skill. Regardless, with the MP hurdle out of the way, I was determined to show the enemy who was the boss and breeze through this hidden mini-game. Victory was in the cards.

Raising the golden staff in my hand, I commanded, "Heavenly Featherstorm." The wings on my back felt lighter as the feathers transformed into razor-sharp, elongated knives, poised to strike the enemy.

The feathers moved in a rapid, crowd-like formation, resembling a bird migration, but considerably faster. Some feathers pierced through the flying mini zombies as the Crimson Enchantress retaliated.

It opened its mouth wide, releasing a horde of bats. Upon impact, the bats exploded into a dark substance, attempting to counter the feathers. However, the sheer number of feathers easily surpassed the bats.

Finally reaching the monster, the feathers pierced through its form, causing cries of pain, body melt, and small eruptions. Yet, the black glob continued to heal the monster, restoring it to normal.

Shit! This wasn't cutting it. I needed more power to take down this monster faster! It might not pose a real threat since it couldn't even harm me, but it was still a pain to keep up the assault!

I need more buff to increase my damage!

Then, I remembered something, the title that makes me almost die today, that keeps activating like crazy! That damned Prince of Chaos!

Could the Architect activate it without meeting the requirements?

{Yes, I can. Quick thinking, boy. I won't spell out everything the Architect can do; get more creative with it.}

Rolling my eyes, I sighed at Tiamat's nonchalant response. She was hardly bothered, even in a life-or-death situation. What if my lack of creativity got me killed?

Regardless, Tiamat activated the Prince of Chaos.

{Activated the Prince of Chaos}

[The Prince of Chaos activated]

[Your damage increased by 80%, and chaos will spread throughout this side of town]

The impact of the title was immediate. The feathers grew larger and radiated a brighter shine, overwhelming the Crimson Enchantress's regenerative abilities. The tables were turning in my favor.

But for me, it wasn't enough. I needed to unleash another mighty skill before time ran out, considering I could only use Seraphina's skills for three hours anyway.

"Celestial Burst," I muttered. Three giant magic circles appeared in front of me, unleashing a colossal beam that obliterated everything in its path, including buildings and streets.

Smiling as I looked below me, everything had vanished even the monster and the black tendrils, and notifications about killing points and EXP flooded in. The most crucial notification read:

[Congratulations!]

[You defeated the Crimson Enchantress!]

[All your rewards sent to your mailbox]

[Because of your hard work and power, you also receive a special reward!]

[Title: The Slumbering Enchantress]

[Description: To the Crimson Enchantress that has been sleeping in the depth of the earth. The one that holds Lifebearing to suck every life above. Dare to wake you up and you'll see the power of the Slumbering Enchantress.]

[Passive skill: The Lifebearing will appear in a 50-meter area, sucking every monster or enemy HP for 5% every 3 minutes and turning it into your MP and regenerative skill.]

[Skill duration: 2 hours]

[Skill cooldown: 6 hours]

[Requirement: When your HP and MP are less than 10%, the title will automatically activate.]

[Limitation: All of the wielder's skills will be imbued with dark magic and any skills imbued with holy magic will be deactivated.]

A decent title, although its effectiveness against dark magic monsters was questionable, and the requirement seemingly waited for me to reach a near-death state. Since I had the Architect, I could activate this title whenever I wanted to.

But what about the dark magic? Could the Architect transform it into another magic element? And could this title be continuously activated without adhering to the skill duration?

{No problem, I could also remove all the skill cooldown in your skill}

Hell yeah! This Architect was a game-changer. I couldn't believe I could use my skills whenever I pleased, and worrying about my MP was a thing of the past thanks to the system!

Tiamat was right; I wouldn't regret being alive anymore with this super-powerful skill and system! I was invincible, never losing, and, most importantly, not facing death in every game I played!

Finally, some sweet victory!

{But it's a shame that you killed the Crimson Enchantress without leaving its body part.}

Ah, shit! I forgot about that. She couldn't appraisal the monster's body now and transfer its skills to me. But wait, I could still summon it, right?

{You can, but it won't be strong since you didn't know its history, just its skills.}

She was right. Even if I could summon it, the skills would be limited.

ARGHH!

What a fool! Next time, I'll leave the body of my enemy to be devoured by Tiamat.

Since I still had time before I couldn't use Seraphina's power anymore, I decided to take a stroll around the city and obliterate every monster in my path!

I need to level up, at least until I reach level 15, to figure out what these killing points are for because I have a surplus of them.

Without much thought, I headed to the north side of the city, near my colony. Unlike the west area, the monsters here were entirely random—like, really random.

I unleashed the Heavenly Featherstorm again, obliterating most of the monsters. With no need to worry about skill cooldowns, I kept spamming all the skills I knew.

Being a Mage was surprisingly fun; maybe I should have chosen this class initially.

Just imagine, having unlimited MP, even if only for three hours a day, and spamming all the spells at my disposal. I could have been the most powerful mage alive.

But, I still could change my attribute, right? Could you make it permanent?

{No, the Architect has a limit in time}

What a shame.

However, the way you deceived them was quite something. In the mini-game with the Goblin Lord, it seemed like the system acknowledged the one who defeated it as a T-Rex.

But why wouldn't the system recognize that I used another being's skills to defeat the Crimson Enchantress?

{Boy, you really think too much, don't you? The special rewards, the title that the system gives you is limited to one player only}

{The system only acknowledges the last person that hit it and doesn't care how they hit it. With the help of my deception, all of the summoned being's skills were acknowledged as your own.}

{So stop asking.}

I sighed. What a hassle! I was just curious about how the system didn't realize I'm using another person's skill!

Oh well, since Tiamat was more important than God anyway, I shouldn't ask anything more regarding the system she gave me.

After an hour, I returned to the colony and my cottage. I really needed to bathe in warm water and change my clothes. My current attire was riddled with holes—I looked like a homeless person.

But, of course, something even more chaotic awaited me in the cottage upon my arrival.

"Hello I'm Garcia Felix, I will be part of this party now, since Gideon made me pregnant! Nice to meet you all," said the woman with red hair and blue eyes, greeting everyone in the cottage.

What the heck was happening!?

A new member has been introduced!

I planed to have three woman as a party member.

Of course no harem in this novel.
