He got off the make-shift bed and walked outside. He stayed on the beach as he watched the sun rise the same way it did back on Earth. It was beautiful as fuck.
He never thought he would appreciate the beauty of the world the same way he did at the moment. He had seen his fair share of bland and ugly worlds.
"What are you thinking about? " Kiya asked as she wrapped her arms around him from behind. He hated her hands on him but he didn't say a word.
Touching and hugging gave the illusion that something more was happening between them apart from sex.
"I thought you were asleep, " he replied instead of answering her question. He didn't trust her one bit. She had all the answers he wanted and wasn't telling him.
"I was but I'm a light sleeper. I felt you leave the bed. "
Kiya let go of Levi and stood beside him staring at the sunrise the same way he was. The two stayed in silent for a few moments, each having their thoughts to themselves.
