Chapter 3 - Sunaru

Levi woke up with a splitting headache. He could barely open his eyes or see properly. Was he…alive? He started to get up and pain shot through his body. He finally looked around him, shocked at what he saw.

Everything around him was in ruins. The war had long ended and all that could be seen was collapsing buildings and thick white fumes in the air. There were small signs of life here and there like a scream or laughter.

"Where the hell am I? " Levi asked out loud. He was nowhere near his house and he couldn't see any of the objects that had fallen on top of him when the roof collapsed.

He knew where he was. It was near the Star Tower.

Levi had no chance to question how he had been transported to that location or how he had no bruises. Five people walked towards him. They consisted of two men and three women. They were wearing all white.

They had white cargo-like pants, white tees, and white leather jackets on top. On their feet were white boots. Levi had never seen people who matched so perfectly. He knew they were trouble judging by the way they were looking at him.

They were not from Earth. When they started doing hand movements in sync and pointing in his direction, he started to run. No matter how fast he ran, he wasn't moving an inch. Only his feet were moving.

It was like he was running on a treadmill. Was that magic they were doing with their hands?

"This commoner thinks he can run. " One of them remarked. He was a guy who looked like he was in his early 20s. He had the typical pretty boy looks that most women like. It was guys like him that made guys like Levi think they were unworthy.

"Cut the chit-chat, Roman. Let's take him with the others. The ship is waiting. "

Just like that, Levi was released from the invisible energy that seemed to be preventing him from moving an inch. He felt a prick in the neck before he fell to the ground and passed out.

All five people carried him into a spaceship together with other survivors. They were all passed out from the drugs they had been given.

Upon seeing the madness and the chaos she had caused on Earth, Tiana was impressed. She lived off of chaos and wreaked havoc everywhere. She had finally succeeded in conquering Earth.

"We are ready to leave, boss. " Tiana smiled and turned to face the intern who had informed her of this.

"Do you know what this smells like? "

He shook his head.

"Power and victory. '' Tiana walked inside one of the many ships that were set to leave Earth. She had hoped to inhibit it but figured it would be too much work because it was far from her planet: Sunaru.

Sunaru was a planet that supported adavanced human beings that could perform magic and had special abilities.

Earth was also ten times bigger than her planet so it would take too much manpower and money for that. The ships left immediately. They threw radiation devices below them to render Earth inhabitable.

If Tiana couldn't have it, no one else would.

The ships arrived at Sunaru and the survivors were offloaded. Their ages and races were scanned and they were divided into two groups. One of the groups was people over the age of eighteen.

Those were to be used for physical labor.

Levi was among the group of people that were of the age of eighteen and below. He woke up in a room full of kids like him. While scanning the room, he saw familiar faces like Dickie and some of his old classmates.

"Welcome, citizens of Earth. This is the planet Sunaru and I am its ruler Tiana. We are one of the many planets in the galaxy that support human life. It is an honor to have you here. "

The woman speaking was a stunning woman with rich chocolate skin that was smooth. She had a glow to her that made one drawn to her immediately. All the minors in the room felt safe when she spoke.

They all relaxed. All except Levi.

"Your kind died and you were left as survivors so we took you to our home. All two hundred of you are under eighteen or eighteen. This gives you the potential to learn magic. This is a chance for all of you to be extraordinary. "

Learn magic? They were all confused. That seemed unlikely for humans with normal cells.

"Some of you have bloodlines that link with magic. Those will be able to learn magic. If you do not have this bloodline, you will learn combat and perfect it."

"You are in Elite Power Academy where you are expected to obey all the rules and attend all classes. There will be dire consequences for those who choose not to follow the rules. Each of you has been assigned rooms. "

"Walk in a line and pick your key card. The number on the card is your room number as well as the permanent number assigned to you. Sometimes we will refer to you by those numbers. That is all. "

She turned around and left. The minors were left walking forward to take their key cards. When Levi received his, he saw that his number was seven. He was told where to go so he headed there.

His steps were unsure and hesitant. He was in awe of how everything was posh and white. Even the guards were all dressed in white.

"Are you scared? Yeah, me too." A guy who was walking beside Levi remarked. He was shocked that anyone was speaking to him.

He was used to being the outcast that nobody wanted to interact with so he didn't know how to respond. He only nodded his head like an idiot.

"I'm Eliot, you? "

"Levi. "

Eliot was at least three times bigger and more attractive than Levi. Why he wanted to be friends with the scrawny kid was a mystery.

"You don't talk much, do you? "

Levi wasn't listening to Eliot. He was staring out a window. Sunaru was beautiful from that angle. The buildings, at least from the much he could see, were sustainable, unlike his own Earth which polluted the environment.

There was greenery on the buildings and skyscrapers. There were also small gardens on the compound as well as fountains. Everything was stunning.

"Beautiful, isn't it? " Levi jumped away from Eliot because he had not seen him standing beside him.

Levi moved away from the window and walked towards the direction of his room. It was clear that he was trying to get away from Eliot but Eliot didn't care. He caught up to Levi and started speaking again.

"Are you from Sunaru or Earth? "

"Earth. '' Levi figured that giving one-word answers to Eliot would drive him away.

"I'm from there too. Where did you previously study? "

Exhausted by all the questioning, Levi answered with little to no enthusiasm. "Why are you talking to me? "

"Oh look, there is my room. " Eliot gestured to room twenty-two. Coincidentally, it was opposite Levi's room. Eliot opened his room using his key and disappeared inside.

Levi entered his own room to find that he would be sharing it with one other person. His roommate had not arrived yet so he sat down on his bed wondering how he had survived.

He inspected his body for any signs of injury. He wanted to get to the bottom of everything. That was when he saw it. It was a mark–a star of David–on his wrist.

When he touched it, it glowed red and a screen appeared in front of his face on the left side.

[Congratulations, you have unlocked the Lucifer System. You will become the devil. Would you like to accept?]
