War.
Anyone who experienced it first hand- no, second hand or third handedly could all agree that war was a bloody affair.
Meant as a way to secure assets, the cold hard truth of war remained that it was nothing more then a battle of interests and who had the bigger fist.
A battle was nothing more then a small much more downscaled war that had a lot less on the line then the lives of a hundred thousand people.
But nevertheless.
Blood had to be spilled.
Just in this case, the blood spilled wasn't the blood of humans.
"Move the battlelines back!"
"We need Reinforcements over here!"
"Fuck! These bastards aren't dying!"
"Die you monsters!"
In the flag ship that had magic carved onto its surface as it fired off magic torpedoes at the monsters of the deep assaulting their ship.
The captain wiped the sweat from his head as he coordinated seamlessly with the generals of the empire.
However, the situation wasn't anything pretty.
Huffing over the railing with blood shot eyes, the general shouted loudly.
"No, does this even make sense!?"
Grasping tufts of his black hair, the captain sweated profusely as he quickly made adjustments to the ship all the while it was bombarded by attacks from monsters that escaped the line.
And although one might think that it was due to the incompetence of the sailors guiding the empire's navy into this portion of the deep.
But it wasn't actually that.
Instead, it was due to the absurd amount of monsters that escaped the breach in the ceiling that they had made after piling up a mountain of underwater explosives.
A minor estimate of the mages said that the explosion and follow up debris would've killed around 50% at the least.
But with the absurd number of monsters the General doubted the efficacy of the explosives that they had personally transported through dangerous waters for.
Coming in all shapes and sizes, swarms of shrimp warriors, sharks, squids, anglers
In this magic filled world, even the smallest fish wasn't to be looked down upon as could be seen from the series of sharp teeth in their mouth.
Slapping a flying fish back into the sea, the captain grit his teeth as veins appeared on his head as he spun the wheel.
"General! Me and my men are the best of the best, but unless you find a way to stop these damned monsters then we'll lose the ships and die here!"
Maneuvering the ship through a series of wreckages that were constantly being swarmed by man eating shrimp, the captain shouted with blood shot eyes.
"General!!!"

In the deep
Gritting her teeth, Rina dodged a sharp set of needle teeth that had already chewed up a many soldiers.
Firing a series of bolts into its skull and emptying her clip, the gigantic Angler fish carrying around a light bulb on its head let out a soundless scream as its dulled eyes rolled up to the back of its head.
"!"
Feeling pain hit her leg from below like someone driving a spike into it, Rina silently screamed at the metal ended tentacle piercing it.
Quickly pulling out her dagger from her waist, she bent over and slashed at the tentacle.
And although the tentacle was covered in metal, the blade enchanted with a purple sheen glowed brightly as it effortlessly cut off the tentacle causing the source of this tentacle to angrily reveal itself.
Covered in a series of scar made from others that were now dead, red smoke escaped its body as the squid shaped monster lunged at her bottom first revealing the sharp beak underneath.
But before it could lay her beaks onto her unprotected body that was still reeling over to remove the wriggling tentacle in her body, a stream of green quickly blast it to the side.
"Rina! Are you okay!?"
Hurriedly making her way over, a beautiful woman with blonde hair swam through the water and spoke through the mental earring that they had bought by scraping together their savings.
"I'm fiNEEE?!" Waving her off, Rina sucked in a mouthful of salt water and started coughing as pain slipped into her mind like a bad neighbor.
But then again, anyone would've done the same when they received a gut shaking punch.
"No you're not! Now stay still."
Heaving in the water, Katrina had a serious look on her face as her golden locks floated aimlessly in the water.
Mana visibly moving around her as she manipulated the liquid surrounding her body, a purple red fluid quickly slipped out and drilled itself into Rina's leg.
Rina took in a sharp breath.
Feeling her flesh wriggle as a potent healing potion accelerated the healing process while providing the nutrients, Rina convulsed on the spot while Katrina stared somberly at the battlefield.
Well what encompassed it that it.
Staring at the small groups of monsters leaking out in critical areas of the battlefield and attacking the backline supporters on the ships, she cursed as she caught a glimpse of Amanda heading up to the surface.
"Ah that damn crazy girl, doing things like that after meeting Ninja"
"Well isn't that normal? Who would've thought that the orphan girl had a super powerful father?"
"Hmm..." Mulling over that fact, Katarina cursed out loud as she saw another surge of deep sea monsters crash against the relatively strained battle lines.
"I'm sorry Rina, but I don't think it's the right time to talk, because we have a much more seriIEEE????!!!!"
Feeling the water churn and froth around them as water was being displaced in large amounts, Katarina and Rina hurriedly directed their eyes to the deep.
Only to see a gigantic shell the size of their flag ship hurtling past them at breakneck speeds.
Churning the water like a whisk Katarina blankly stared at the multi tentacular being effortlessly smashing past their defence lines and rendering them moot.
'...'
'What the f-'
Getting whipped in the face a back lash of water she flew around in the sea as her body got sent far away from the battlefield and into a sea of kelp.
Getting tangled in the numerous green plants that accounted for a vast majority of the oxygen being supplied in the atmosphere, Katarina stared at the monster responsible for her flight.
Or swim if you want to put it that way.
With crimson red skin the color of blood and numerous black spikes covering its body, the gigantic creature looked much like the guardians which were currently aiding them in combating the deep sea monsters for some reason.
Not that she was complaining, but she couldn't help but notice a man hanging on for dear life on the face of the Ancient Guardian.
Feeling an unknown pity for the man being carried along for the ride, Katarina instead focused on her own self who was currently in a different predicament.
Trapped in a bundle of algae all the while she was surrounded by a series of very blood thirsty little critters that weren't big enough to participate in
On the plus side, that meant that they had a lower poison tolerance unless they were pufferfish.
Staring at the bloated yellow spike balls slowly floating towards her, Katarina manipulated a thread of poison to slap it away from her.

'Good God you are fast'
Feeling the water whip against my face as I was plastered against one of the many spikes on the ancient Guardians body, I thanked the lord that my new body was much more durable.
otherwise, with the amount of G force applied on my not so human body would've rendered me into a very unique looking pancake.
Not that I have anything against pancakes or anything (They are the best) but I would much rather stay human thank you very much than be a pancake.
Wouldn't think that would look good on the resume.
Applying force onto my arms and legs so that I wouldn't just be rendered flat from the immense G force applied on my cranium, I twisted my body so that I was now horizontal to the Ancient Guardian's body.
And good thing I did that as well as the next thing I knew, the ancient guardian was barreling through an army of monsters as if they weren't even present presenting three endings for them.
Impaled by the numerous spikes.
Turned into an unrecognizable smush from the G force.
Or sent tumbling some place else by the resultant surge of water.
How I knew that they would be turned into an unrecognizable mush or impaled by spikes you ask?
Well hard to ignore the twitching mass that took my previous spot.
Suppressing the urge to heave my non existent breakfast, I applied some more force onto my arms and crawled away to another place and made sure to force my eyes open for the fleeing duo.
But strangely enough.
I forced myself to look back only to see a series of colors flash by without regard of which was in a chaotic mess on a tapestry.
And since I couldn't understand why I turned my head, I forced myself to pull out my leaf blade while activating my vine runes.
Grinning madly, my eyes curled upwards as my teeth flashed in the sea.
Green thorn like runes glowing on my arms as the leaf blade started to grow wildly, it quickly covered the body of the ancient Guardian like armor.
'Yeah, let's do it like this.'
Eyes flashing as they filled with a combination of malaise suppressing mana, blue and orange leaked out of my eyes as the Ancient Guardian unflinchingly swam forwards.
'I really should stop smiling at break neck speeds though'
'God my teeth hurt'

On that note, since homework is a pain in the ass and A levels have rendered my upload schedule useless I shall give you two options.
Option 1: Continue uploading sporadically with an average of 1 every 2-3 days.
Option 2: Uploading a super chapter that is roughly two to three times a normal chapter at the end of the week
