Holding my leg at the point where the leg was ripped off earlier, I slowly moved it around.
'God damn, the phantom pain is real' Feeling the pain still appear as my mind thought my leg was still gone I rested my back on the white round surface behind me.
Laying my head and closing my eyes, I rested against the Eye of Cthulhu's corpse that was embedded into the ground.
No wonder when it was charging so quickly.
Letting out a sigh out of my bloodied mouth I grabbed the egg which was causing trembles inside my inventory.
"Yeah yeah" Letting the sharp toothed egg out with a smile I pointed it to the eye of Cthulhu. "I got it you greedy little child"
As it ate all the blood in the corpse while leaving the corpse itself intact, I looked at the spoils of war that have been left behind at the eye's death.
First things first, find out what the hell it dropped.
I don't know how realistic it is to get Demonite ores from a monster that was made of flesh but I wasn't complaining.
But it definitely is incredibly unrealistic to receive both corrupt seeds though.
Again, no complaints here.
Playing with the Corrupt arrows that were stuck inside the beast I continued looking through my inventory.
'It's slightly funny that I have it's mask, looks cool though'
Taking out the Eye of Cthulhu's mask while putting the Corrupt arrows away I glanced at the trophy I received which was the largest tooth of the eye.
Letting out a sigh into the air, I drank the lesser healing potion and regenerated from my numerous wounds.
As the healing fluid traveled down my injured body, a slight pain coursing through it.
My back felt an incredibly itch that was nearly unbearable if not for the fact that I didn't have the energy to even move.
Pushing myself up as the corpse of the giant Eye was left behind, I glanced at the beast that still looked rather imposing while on the ground.
Stretching my poor aching bones as the gates opened up, several guards wearing sparse iron armor running out to stab the remaining goblins.
I walked towards them with a smile after keeping Ryley away. 'Did he gain some new features?'
Walking towards the soldiers while dodging the puddles of fire I slowly approached them, and had to quickly stop as they pointed their spears at me.
Raising an eyebrow at this development I spoke "What's the meaning of this?"
Hearing my question one of the guards wearing a spiked helmet stepped forwards while pointing their spear.
"We'll have to take you in for questioning sir, on the suspicion that you helped the goblins invade Tinell"
'The hell?' Slightly confused my eyes looked at the man underneath the helmet, before a wave of understanding washed over me.
'Is this guy a corrupt man drunk on his power?' Before a wave of confusion followed soon after.
'But why? I don't think I did anything to offend this guy, in fact he should be sucking up to the powerful, which is me for ending the boss who I know for a fact will end these guys with the blink of an eye.'
'Oh wait' Glancing back at the corpse of the giant eye I thought for a second "Those this guy want the corpse of the Eye? But that doesn't make sense, why pin me for the blame of helping the goblins invade the city? I only just found them...'
'Or this guy let the goblins in' As the dots clicked in my mind I looked at the man before putting my hand in my pocket.
"Hey! Don't resist!" Pointing his spear at me as his colleagues who may or not be in cahoots with him pointed their spears at me I raised a hand.
"Don't worry, I'm just taking something out to prove that I didn't even let those goblins in, I literally just arrived in the city after all"
Taking out the crest the one eyed woman handed me upon my entrance to the city I showed it to the man.
Causing his eyes to light up in excitement.
"Hand me that right now! I must confirm it's authenticity!"
'Okay now I'm just annoyed right now' Sighing I rubbed my head and just used a newly acquired item to move forwards.
'I wonder how I- Woah!'
Using the Item called the shield of Cthulhu, the image of a mouth similar to the one the Eye of Cthulhu had in it's second phase had appeared around me.
Charging forwards I appeared right next to the man, stopping just in time to bring one of the twin daggers right at his neck and spoke.
"Look, I don't know your name, but I sure as hell know that you don't just detain a man who just saved your city from the brink of death"
Pushing the dagger forwards as the others finally reacted and changed the place where they were pointing the spears at I spoke to them.
"Don't attack me or I'll kill this guy" And to prove my point the dagger dug through the skin and drew a small drop of blood.
"Eek!"
Ignoring the disgraceful noise the man said I turned to him again.
"I don't even know why you are accusing me of planning this goblin invasion when I literally just appeared in this city today, in fact isn't it more probable that you are the one who let the goblins into the city Mister guard?"
Eyeing the man at the corner of my eye while holding the dagger to his neck I glanced forwards.
"What are you doing!"
Looking at the woman who at the start of my entering to the city appear right in front of me while carrying a sword dyed in both red and green blood.
She shouted while holding her sword up. "What are you doing young man!? Explain the situation right now!"
"Captain! This man is suspected to be the one who started the goblin in-"
"Shut your trap unless you want your throat slit" Interrupting the man, he audibly gulped down the rest of the words he wanted to say.
Furrowing her brows the woman pointed her sword to the man as I awkwardly shifted around in place, dagger still in place while taking account for my surroundings.
"That is not possible, I still remember him as one of the people I had given my crest to, and this man had just entered this city today"
Going pale at those words the man felt cold to the touch as he froze in place, the Guard captain now eyeing the man with suspicion.
"Men! Detain that man!"
Dashing backwards I watched the men catch the man who stood stock still as afraid of something.
The story would've taken a bit to long to talk about as I didn't care to know the details as I just wanted a place to sleep and rest.
Taking the advice of the woman and entering an inn that she recommended I slept like a baby until the next day.
The man was detained and brought for questioning.
And the next day as I woke up from a good rest on a bed I received the news.
The man was found guilty for allowing the goblins to enter the city.
He was set to be executed and dusk.
