The orc, enraged and determined, spotted Avi and Emma in the woods. Its eyes bore into them, fueled by a mix of frustration and an insatiable desire to pursue its prey.
"Keep moving, Emma! We need to find a safer spot!" Avi called out as he guided her through the dense forest, the skeleton minions following closely behind.
The orc, undeterred, began to climb the hill with powerful strides. It smashed through branches and foliage, leaving destruction in its wake. Avi knew they needed a strategic advantage to overcome this formidable foe.
"Get ready, skeletons!" Avi commanded, and the three goblin minions prepared themselves for the impending confrontation.
As the orc reached the top of the hill, the terrain favoured its size and strength. Avi, however, utilized the shadows to his advantage. Activating his Shadow Step ability, he manoeuvred through the dense vegetation, creating illusions and confusion to disorient the orc.
The orc swung its massive axe, attempting to clear a path through the thick foliage. Avi seized this moment of distraction to position his skeleton goblins strategically.
"Attack from all sides! Keep it off balance!" Avi directed his minions, coordinating their movements to exploit the orc's vulnerability.
The skeleton goblins, armed with bone clubs, struck at the orc simultaneously from different directions. The orc, momentarily overwhelmed by the coordinated assault, roared in frustration.
Amidst the chaos, Emma found a fallen tree trunk, using it as a makeshift barricade. Avi, seeing her initiative, nodded approvingly. It was clear that Emma wasn't just a helpless bystander; she had survival instincts.
The orc, recovering from the initial onslaught, turned its attention towards Avi and the skeletons. With a mighty swing of its axe, it aimed to crush the undead minions.
"Dodge and counterattack!" Avi shouted, and the skeleton goblins swiftly evaded the orc's strikes, retaliating with bone clubs.
Having said that, Avi looked at the goblins' bodies in the forest. A moment ago he resurrected two of them as a skeleton. He had enough mana to create more.
'But I should not waste mana.'
"Come out you two!" Avi shouted as the two new skeletons jumped behind the trees toward the orc.
Rattle- Rattle-
Soon, five skeletons surrounded the orc.
"Good, now's the time!" Avi shouted. Then the five skeletons threw their five sharply bone club at the orc.
Clang, clang!
Most of them were blocked by the axe but that was the opening Avi was waiting for.
Avi quickly used shadow steps and appeared behind the orc, in his hand was Hydra's venom dagger and his other hand was glowing on deathly aura.
-Slash!
-Touch!
-Kwak!
First Avi slashed the back of the orc with its dagger and at the same spot he touched his other hand.
[Effect Paralyze has been activated.]
[Target cursed, Rotting Curse (5%) target gradually loses health for the next 5 minutes]
As soon as his role was done Avi jumped back from the frenzy orc.
"He may be able to neutralize the paralyze effect but there is no way he is going to stop [Cursed Touch] not even Hydra could do anything against it," Avi muttered As he gazed at the orc who was madly swinging his giant axe.
Turning his head towards the five goblin skeletons, Avi shouted, "Now."
The five skeletons started crazily attacking it with bare hands, which was something completely unexpected.
The orc was not quite ready for this kind of blitz. Attacking with bare hands? Was it their suicide attack?
Thud!
The giant monster broke the skull of the skeleton attacking head-on and smashed another one attacking on the left. But its arms gradually got heavier.
Two skeletons were holding its arms tightly. It tried to break loose from one of them by grabbing the legs hurriedly, but it barely pulled out its legs.
At that moment, Avi, and Emma rushed for a coordinated attack. The orc tried to wield the axe, but it could hardly do so because of the two skeletons stuck in its arms like leeches.
Plus with the help of Paralyze, Orc movement becomes slower than before but not that much, however, that not be said the same for the cursed touch.
The Rotting Curse was doing its work and the monster could not stop it from doing that.
The orc, now burdened by the combined effects of the paralyze and the Rotting Curse, struggled against the relentless assault from Avi, Emma, and the skeleton goblins.
Despite its frenzied attempts to break free, the orc found itself increasingly immobilized. Avi, exploiting the creature's weakened state, directed the skeleton goblins to persist in their bare-handed onslaught.
At that moment Emma with her sword cut the orc's thigh and dealt a blow to its vital points, namely a long cut on its quadriceps. No matter how strong it was, the orc could not help but collapse with the fatal wounds.
Argh!
As expected, the orc fell, going down on one knee. Seizing the chance, Avi thrust Hydra's venom fang dagger into the orc's skull directly killing it.
The orc, now defeated and lifeless, collapsed to the ground with a final roar. Avi, Emma, and the skeleton goblins stood victorious over the fallen foe.

[Experience gained: 200]
[Items dropped: Orcish Axe]
Avi quickly scanned the system messages and noted the rewards gained from the battle. The experience points would contribute to his progression, and the items dropped could potentially be useful.
"Well done, Emma. That was a tough fight," Avi praised, acknowledging Emma's contribution to the victory.
Emma, catching her breath, gave a nod of agreement. "Thanks. I wouldn't have made it without your strategy and those skeletons."
As the adrenaline of the battle began to fade, Avi looked at the orcish axe and hide dropped by the defeated monster.
"Let's check the loot and then find a secure spot to rest," Avi suggested, crouching down to inspect the items.
[Orcish Axe]

Avi weighed the orcish axe in his hands, considering its potential use. He then glances at one of his skeleton goblins. The skeleton body of goblins was full of cracks.
From what Avi could tell it was time for them to get a new weapon.
"Here you can take this," Avi said as he tossed the axe at one of his skeleton goblins who caught it with bony hands.
