Climbing to the top of the Hydra's body, I marvelled at the intricate details of its colossal form. The scales beneath my hands were rough and uneven, creating a challenging ascent. As I reached higher, the once vibrant scales now glistened dully, bearing the scars and remnants of the fierce battle that unfolded within its stomach.
The Hydra's body, previously a symbol of power, now lay lifeless, its multiple heads hanging limply, each with distinct features. The colour of the scales shifted subtly, with remnants of the decayed flesh clinging to the creature's form. Beneath my fingers, the tarnished silver patches marked areas where the once-intimidating serpent had suffered burns and wounds.
Gazing down, I could see the vast cavern of the stomach, now still and silent after the tumultuous battle. The eerie light revealed the Hydra's true size, its sprawled body occupying the entire space. The river's water, carrying remnants of the creature's digestive fluids, reflected an unsettling blend of colours, creating an otherworldly atmosphere.
Reaching the top, I found a relatively flat surface on the Hydra's back. It offered a vantage point to observe the surroundings while awaiting the replenishment of my mana. The air carried a lingering scent of decay mixed with the river's freshness, creating a peculiar blend that accompanied the stillness of the moment.
"You guys now come out," I said to my undead slaves who were peacefully resting in my shadow but too bad for them I'm going to cut their rest short.
3 shadows rose from my shadow and took a skeleton form, they looked at me with their empty eye socket and within those eye sockets, a blue flame was lingering.
Looking at them I kind of creep out again, no matter what I do they look creepy.
Well, I can't do anything about that, Necromancer is my class after all.
"Here, 3 bone clubs that I have taken from you." Saying that I took 3 bones club from inventory and gave them.
-Clank!, -Clank!, -Clank!
-Clank!, -Clank!, -Clank!
-Clank!, -Clank!, -Clank!
Taking back their weapons goblin minions frantically started to swing their weapons around as they opened their mouths to say something but only the sound of bone clacking could be heard.
The goblin minions, now armed with their bone clubs, practised their swings with an eerie synchronization. The repetitive clanking of their weapons echoed across the Hydra's lifeless body, creating an odd symphony in the quiet aftermath of battle.
Observing their skeletal forms and the blue flames within their eye sockets, I couldn't help but feel a shiver down my spine. Despite being under my command, their appearance remained unsettling, a stark reminder of the path I had chosen as a Necromancer.
While the goblin minions practised, I continued to wait for my mana to replenish. The quietude atop the Hydra allowed me to contemplate the upcoming challenge of binding the sea serpent as my undead slave. The failed attempt earlier served as a reminder of the intricate balance required in wielding the powers of necromancy.
As the goblin minions completed their practice, they stood in a formation, awaiting further instructions. Their blue flames flickered in an almost rhythmic manner, adding to the peculiar ambience surrounding us.
"Look I'm going to get some sleep now because I didn't get enough earlier, while I sleep I want all of you to protect me and wake me up when something happens, you guys understand?" I said as I remembered that nightmare dream.
All of them nodded their head as they understood what I was saying...
With that being said I took out the pillow I bought from the system store.
Laying down on the peculiar surface of the Hydra's back, I tried to make myself as comfortable as possible. The pillow I bought from the system store was a welcomed addition, promising a better rest than the unsettling dreams that had haunted me before.
The goblin minions, now in a protective formation, kept their skeletal gaze alert. Blue flames within their eye sockets flickered rhythmically as they stood guard, creating an eerie yet oddly reassuring presence. I closed my eyes, allowing the strange ambience to envelop me.
As sleep claimed me, the scent of decay mixed with the river's freshness lingered in the air. The stillness atop the Hydra's body contrasted with the previous chaos, creating an almost surreal environment for my rest.
In the realm of dreams, visions of the gods' attention, the dead girl Aina, and the impending quest to bind the Hydra as my undead slave danced through my subconscious. The pillow provided some comfort, yet the weight of responsibility pressed on my mind.

I blinked several times as I opened my eyes again after the long sleep, maybe not that long.
I just sleep for 4 hours. The pillow I had brought gave me comfort but it's not all that good.
Anyway, I stood up on my legs and glanced at the goblin minions, they stood in a triangular formation, one was at my head side when I was sleeping while the other two stood in front of my foot.
"You guys can go back now." hearing my words, the goblin minions nodded their heads and returned to my shadow.
'Now then let's try again... ' I thought so as I looked at my mana pool.
[Mana: 800/800]
I raised my hand towards the dead Hydra body and said:
"Arise."
[You have used Riase Undead Skill on Hydra, a C-ranked monster.]
A purple hue shot at Hydra's body. The purple hue slowly spread across all the body evloping its dead body.
[The targeted monster's soul is resisting against Raise Undead. The skill Raise Undead has failed.]
"Fuck."
