I woke up from my morning bed inside my usual cramped room.
"The streetlights should shine a little brighter.." Shidou sighed.
Shidou gets up and prepares his breakfast- the usual store bought ramen. He goes outside nearby the alley where he would make warm water with the help of the vents.
"It's freezing cold..." Shidou stutters trying to maintain grip of the small kettle.
"Right... I have school" Shidou ponders while heating the kettle.
It's really dark but there aren't much people, this way of heating the kettle was fine enough for Shidou to heat water. Shidou walks to his room and drops the ramen into the kettle and waits a minute- it's not completelty cooked but it's warm. While waiting, he washes his face to prepare for school.
"I am not alcholic or a smoker..." Shidou thinks to himself..
Shidou lives in an abandoned condo- specifically unfinished nearby a bridge.. The block doesn't look apocolyptic but it's depressing- the hidden part of a city. Shidou wears his uniform and exits the building.
"Eiyyu?" A voice spoke to Shidou.
Shidou opened his eyes- he was sweating and he looked in panic as he looks around him. The men got concerned and immediately comforted Shidou.
"You, how, lord?" Deiou's voice reached Shidou in a gentle but concerned manner.
Adhu brought tea for Shidou and placed the wooden tray in front of him.
"Give, you, lord." Adhu places and bows to Shidou with grace.
Shidou nods and Adhu pours tea into Shidou's cup. Shidou calms down- he's now three years old. Half an hour may not be much but he can now walk rather than crawl. Shidou stands up and the men follows by preparing for a walk and getting whatever materials they needed. From the left side of the shrine was a nice array of flowers, it's a nice place for Shidou to relax. Shidou walks from the left side of the shrine then to the front where it's tranquil as usual. He has learned to live with this strange athmosphere- it's really strange.
"Adhu, how, world?" Shidou tries to gather up words then looked at Adhu as he ponders what the outside world is.
"Strong, attack, land." Adhu lowers his head as he spoke.
Shidou couldn't really make a decision from that.
"I am trying but I get a little bit of what's happening.." Shidou thinks to himself.
"I should learn how to talk better..." Shidou added.
Shidou looks at the men and said,
"Teach, words, me, understand." Shidou attempts to form a sentence.
It wasn't fluent but the men got a concept of what Shidou wants. The men nods and a swordsman suddenly appears- Shidou didn't even know he was there.
"What the-?!" Shidou contemplates on himself.
It was a 20 year old man, his presence couldn't even be detected by Shidou. The men and the swordsman talked and it was out of Shidou's comprehension. The man looked like a fully equipped samurai- just without a helmet and the armor was white but stained with mud and scratches. It wasn't visible when he exited- he just disappeared. Within a minute, the men presented Shidou a huge paper and they wrote words in there and pronounced it. The man points at a human looking figure,
"Human." then he points at the rock looking figure "Stone."
Shidou looked very surprised, it was like knowing something great. This continued for 10 minutes before he got too drowsy to even think. The men noticed Shidou looking drowsy so they immediately brought a futon for Shidou to rest on. Shidou was simply too drowsy to think how they were so quick at getting one- he fell asleep. The men were back to looking at their scrolls in silence.
"It's a nice day." Shidou thinks to himself before falling into deep sleep.
