Shidou heads to his school, quite early. Transportation isn't even an option, he walks to his school every day. The sidewalks are pale and peaceful, nothing unusual. Everything was normal until he walked into his classroom. Another man seemed to be there,
"You're early as usual, Shidou." Spoke the old math professor Sir Junjo as he turned the heater on as it's going to be very cold later.
"Thanks sir Junjo..." Shidou replied with a voice of little volume and then takes a seat.
The professor smiled at Shidou and his face was that like of a person trying to comfort you even they know very well the cause of your problem.
"Shidou..." The professor approached and spoke, "It really hurts me to fail a young person like you but your scores are getting lower and lower.." the professor sighed, "There's still time, I can help you if you're having a hard time." the professor seemed to insist as he placed papers on his desk and sat down.
He's already in his 50s and should retire soon but it's nice to see him help Shidou.
"Let's start from the basic definition of shapes..." The professor started teaching young Shidou like father like son.
This continued until it was 7am and the professor had to go to his first class. Shidou was smiling deep inside, even with a hollowed voice and silent replies, the professor thought him wholeheartedly.
"Let's meet again this evening, I'll go now Shidou and study well." The professor smiles as he takes his leave.. *cough*... the professor should really retire soon...
"I hope mom is doing well..." Shidou thinks to himself with a smile deep inside.
A sudden wrap of reality, Shidou snaps out of daydreaming.
"This, Kotokotokai, very strong." Arrne expressed with calmness as he pointed at a banner replica.
"Right... I'm still learning... I don't need rotten memories.." Shidou contemplated to himself as he regained focus and noticed the topic.
"Kotokotokai?" Shidou asked with curiousity.
"Yes lord, very strong land." Arrne replied with a gentle smile.
Shidou remembers something- it's been months since they started teaching Shidou the basic language and Shidou has remembered something important.
"Where Eiyyu?" Shidou asked.
"You lord, in shrine, █████████ land." Arrne replied.
Shidou was confused, perhaps a new word.
"What you say?" Shidou asked once more.
Arrne signals to Deiou by hand, something Shidou couldn't understand. They brought a basket of scrolls then looked for the country's banner. He pulled one out,
"This, Tori████." Arrne points while repeating it. "Tu-ri-ku-ni" "Torikuni, small land."
Adhe lays out the small map and shows it to Shidou.
"So that means that the shrine is located in this country.. Turikuni..." Shidou made a huge realization, or just a gut instinct.
"Tell more." Shidou insisted with curiousity.
"Turikuni, land shrine in. Small land, crushed." Arnne gestures by crumbling the banner.
Shidou was shocked and needed to know more, he was rather expressionless.
"Tell more." Shidou was more insistent this time.
"When-?" Arnne asked in worry while maintaining confidence, he stuttered a bit.
"NOW." Shidou lost his temper and shouted. The wind suddenly became heavy, and the breeze slowed down. The men lowered their heads and immediately brought the required materials to explain.
"I didn't mean that-." Shidou seems to regret and feel sorry for them. "No no-" But apologizing wasn't a word he learned just yet-- "███████████████████████████████████████" It sounded like anger... The men even rushed more..
Shidou was led inside the shrine, the central room where there was a map there of the entire world. It wasn't anything gloomy, it was furnished with a shiny floor and bright red walls and pillars of stone, nothing too fancy though..
"Now, Turikuni, crumbled, Kotokotokai." Deiou explained as Arnne moved the pieces to better illustrate how it was attacked.
"Steal food, steal treasure, kill royal. Show power." Deiou emphasized how it was destroyed as Arnne illustrated the events on the map.
Shidou was starting to feel drowsy.
"Damn, I'm out of time." Shidou was getting all wobbly as he is about to fall.
The men immediately ran towards Shidou to catch him, they brought a futon to let him sleep.
"Two hours... not bad...." Shidou's last word before deeply falling asleep.
