She watched ass Ms. Mary let out a sigh form her lips as she slouched her shoulders. Well I heard what happened in the forest and I know the experience was awful and it couldn't have been easy for you." Ms. Mary said to her and she watched ass tina stiffened slightly at her words.
"it was but I am strong and I can handle things on my own." Tina said to her in a dismissive tone.
"I know that but having to see the others die like that it must have been awful for you." Ms. Mary said to her.
Tina cleared her throat as she couldn't help but stiffen slightly in her spot. Ms. Mary watched her every move however and she couldn't help but smirk when she noticed just how uncomfortable she was starting to get.
"Yes well that is true but like you said I am very strong and I know that that is all part of the intensity of the course and at the end of the day not everyone. Is going to be able to make it out of there alive and only the toughest will win." She said to her and she watched as Ms. Mary hummed nodding her head at her in respo0nxe.
"but what I also know is the fact that that isn't the real reason that you dragged me here. don't play me for a fool. I know that you didn't want to check up on my well-being. You want something else so how about you skip all of the civil talk and just simply tell me exactly what it is that you wasn't." she said to her firmly.
Ms. Mary cleared her throat as she was quick to shake her head at her in response before she spoke up. "I already told you that it was nothing and you will simply have to trust me on that. You are my student and I am only trying to look out for you. One of my jobs and duties is to make sure that you and all my other students are safe and that nothing happens to them physically or mentally. I have failed the others but I am only trying to ensure that I don't fail you." Ms. Mary said to her.
"well if that is true then why is it that you left a threat in the back of the letter. Why didn't you simply ask me to come here. why did you have to go to such great lengths to ensure that I did come over." She asked her.
"Well although you are very strong I also know that you are very stubborn. I know that when the goblins attacked you. you tried to put on a strong front and it was I that was able to help you out of it. But you never asked for my help I was the one that had to come to you. I know that in this case it would be the same and that you wouldn't come to me willingly on your own and that if I wanted you to listen then io would have to push you slightly." Ms. Mary said to her.
"well I don't need you r help and I don't believe that is the real reason." Tina said to her.
"well let me ask you honestly. If I told you that you should come over so that I could see how you were doing and make sure that you were okay would you have agreed to do so?" Ms. Mary asked her.
Tina was quiet as she didn't answer her and she couldn't help but smile as she knew that her silence was already answer enough. "you see some times you have to use tough actions to get things done." Ms. Mary said to her.
"well I don't understand why you are doing all of this. And you mentioned revealing the truth. What does that have to do with all of this. I understand that you are trying to get on my good side for whatever reason that you may have but I am not interested." Tina said to her as she began standing up to leave.
Ms. Mary couldn't help but panic as she watched her getup. She knew that she had to act fast and she couldn't just let her go like that. "okay fine you are right. That wasn't the reason why I called you here. It was part of the reason but not the whole thing." Ms. Mary said to her.
She watched as tina looked towards her with a quirked eyebrow before as smirk made its way onto her features. She let out a chuckle before shaking her heads.
"Why am I not surprised. Of course you would want something. Nd I have a feeling that know what it is." She said to her.
Ms. Mary gulped as she asked, "you do?"
Tina hummed in response before nodding her head at her.
"I am sure that you want the same thing that they all want. And that is to get something form me. So what is it that you want." Tina said to her in a firm tone.
"I am tired of scurrying around like a rat searching for crumbs at the bottom of the barrel. I want to have a foothold as well in the academy and in the world as a whole." Ms. Mary said to her.
She watched as tina hummed after a minute. "Well I am not surprised that you would say that. After all no one wants to be stuck at the bottom but if you are trying to use me in order for you to be able to get on my father's good side so that he can do you some favors then you are out of luck." Tina said to her.
Ms. Mary's face fell at her words. "how do you know that I am trying to use you to get to your father?" she asked.
She watched as Tina cleared her throat letting oht. As light chuckle before she shook her head and readjusted herself in her seat.
"Well because everyone does. Everyone knows the fact that my father is at the top of the academy and he is the one that can give you a higher position or essentially giver you whatever it is that you want. And soi believe you thought that you could butter me up so that you could get on his good side." Tina said to her firmly with a sense of certainty of her words in her tone.
Ms. Mary was about to shake her head but tina beat her to it, "You know I just thought that you were dumb or that you were too proud to go to my father in the hopes that he would help you out but I am glad to see that you aren't entirely stupid and that you can tell where you would be able to get what you want. Unfortunately I am not the right person to go through." Tina said to her with shrug of her shoulders.
She looked over at Ms. Mary and she watched as her face fell.
