"You know that there is no point in you trying to run because I will catch you." She said to him.
He didn't want to make it evident on his features that what she had said was true but he knew that he was stuck.
He was also certain that if he did run that Mr. ken would stop him and bring him back. Mr. ken had made it clear to him that he had nowhere to go and it wasn't allowed for him to leave.
Aside from that fact Dick was also held back by the fear and the knowledge of the fact that he wasn't able to survive on his own.
Even if he tried to go out there and live by himself. He dint have the skills or the right mindset to endure that he was able to make it there alive.
That made sure of one thing to him and that was the fact that he was stuck here and he didn't have anywhere else to go to.
Dick knew that he is in a tight spit and that he had to act fast. he was also aware of the fact that there was no way for him to get out of here successfully.
Instead he would have to face Tina. He wouldn't allow her to intimidate him and he would have to show her that he wasn't fearful of her.
That was however easier said than done. "I know what you are thinking. You may not want to admit it now but you and I both know that you are aware that you have lost." She said to him in an obvious tone.
Dick was nervous not knowing how to respond to her exactly. He was about to back away from her when he was relieved to hear the voice of Gloria.
"What is going on here?" she asked the two of them as she took a step closer. Tina took a step away from Dick as she stared towards Gloria with a glint of amusement that was clear on her eye.
"We were just having a conversation. There was nothing for you to worry about." Tina said to her as she brushed it off.
"That wasn't what it looked like to me." Gloria said to her as she turned her attention towards Dick.
Dick however only shook his head at her in response.
"You see like I said we were just having a friendly conversation. In fact I told him a cool joke and we were just laughing about it together." Tina said to her as she offered her a shrug of her shoulders.
"Is that true Dick." Gloria asked and Dick cleared his throat as he took as moment to find his voice, "Yeah we were just having a bit of fun." He muttered.
Gloria instantly broke put into as smile as she stepped. Closer towards them.
"well than goodness I am glad to see that the two of you are getting along. It was getting hard with all of the tension. But I think the great of us could use some of those jokes as well. So how about you share them with me." Gloria said in a cheerful tone.
"Well I think that you could come up with something just as funny. But the one I was telling Dick weas. Why did the boar cross the forest?" Tina said to her and the two of them fell into a moment of silence.
"Why?" Gloria asked her with a look of confusion. "Well to reach the vulnerable students on the other side of course.? She said as she let out a chuckle.
Gloria paused for a moment before she burst out laughing. Dick tried to ease the air as well as he let out a shaky laugh.
Gloria shook her head at her in response. "I can't believe that you are making jokes now. Who would have known that you were this crazy." Gloria said to her.
Tina shrugged her shoulders at her in response as she gave her a small smirk. "well what I can say is it seems that I am full of a lot of surprises." She said to her with a chuckle.
Gloria nodded her heard art her in agreement. "swell I must agree with you on that I wish that you could rub some of it off on Dick."
She said and the two girls chuckled. Dick was sat uncomfortably towards the aside as though he had been forgotten by them in the moment.
"Any way I have to go. I promised some of the boys that I would come with them on the hunt and I also told one of the girls that I would help her with the washing of the clothes." Tina said as she stood up to her feet and began to walk away.
"I really can't believe how she was able to change. The girl is an angel now." Gloria said.
Dick rolled his eyes at her words. He didn't understand how Gloria was so blind to what Tina was doing. The fact that she had thought that Tina had changed a new leaf was alarming to him.
He knew that it would take a lot for him to convince her that Tina was up to no good but he wasn't going to stop trying.
Gloria was in danger as well and he knew for a fact that Tina was going to come after the both of them.
"You can't seriously be under the impression that Tina has changed. Don't you find it weird that she is a new person all of a sudden." He asked her as his tone was slightly raised.
He watched as she bit down on her lip slightly as she seemed to contemplate his words.
After a moment she turned her attention towards the class and she looked towards Tina specifically.
She found her braiding one of the girls hair with one hand as she used her other hand to fan her.
"I mean look at her. Does she look like the same Tina that you used to know. Maybe the goblins rewired her mindset." Gloria suggested as she gave him a shrug of her shoulders..
She watched as he let out a sigh form his lips as he shook his head at her. "You aren't looking at this properly. You think simply because she is acting nice that she had changed her personality entirely however you and I both know that isn't true." He said to her.
She was quiet for a moment as she seemed to think over his words briefly. She slumped her shoulders as she muttered something under her breath.
"I guess that it does make sense that she has something else planned." She said to him in a mutter.
He smiled knowing that she would eventually side with him. She would ultimately want to please him no matter what. Even if it meant that she would go against her own instincts.
"that is a good girl. You know that I wouldn't lie to you and that I wouldn't tell you something unless it was completely true," he said to her and he watched as she slowly nodded her head at him.
