"but she knows how to play the part well. She had me convinced." She said to him in a mutter.
"Yes it would be easy for you to believe that she would have changed her behavior because you have a good heart but you can't let her use that fact against you." He said to her.
Dick's words got to her and she knew that he wouldn't have simply accused Tina if he didn't have any evidence or without reason.
She began to realize that maybe she was wrong about Tina. Because if one thing was certain it was the fact that if she had to choose between who was more likely to be right she would chose Dick.
She knew that she could trust him. Tina on the other hand she wasn't sure.
"Why is it bothering you so much that she is changing. Even if this is part oof her plan then how are we sure that this is a bad thing. Maybe it is time for us to embrace this new change from her." Gloria said to him.
"because she wants to kill you. She blames you for what happened to her and I saw the look in her eyes. I know that she is fully serious about her plan and she intends to go through with it." He said to her firmly.
She widened her eyes at him in shock as her trembled slightly.
All of a sudden she felt as though she was seeing Tina in a different light.
Instead of seeing the innocent lamb that was brave and selfless. She was a cunning cobra that was plotting her next move.
Instead of trying to help her she knew that what she needed to do was to stay away from her.
"So how am I supposed to get out of danger and how do I stay away from her?" Gloria asked as her heart raced against her chest.
She hated to admit it but she was afraid of what Tina planned to do. "We can't do anything about it now. If we try to escape I am certain that Mr. ken will stop us and we will end up getting punished for it and we can't risk doing that." Dick explained to her.
Gloria nodded her head knowing that Dick was right. From her interactions with Mr. ken she could tell that he was a cold man but still he listened to every word that Tina said.
He respected Tina more than anything and he would do any of her bidding all she had to do was ask.
"So how do we go about it?" She asked Dick.
"Well we are just going to have to stay put. We can't over react or lash out because I know that is exactly what she wants. She wants to get a reaction out of us and we can't give her the satisfaction of doing so. We have to pretend like we are defenseless against her." He said to her but she could tell that there was more to his words that he was yet to tell.
"And then what. After we while away our time then what do we do?" she asked him.
"And then we wait for the situation to become complicated. After all we are in a dark forest. There are bounds to be creatures out there who are simply waiting to pounce and they will have no trouble in attacking us. When that happens and the class is distracted by the danger. Then we are going to use that chance to escape." He explained to her.
"You want us to escape the internship. Have you forgotten what that means." Gloria said to him with her tone slightly raised as she sent him a slight glare.
He raised his hands in surrender as he let out a sigh. "I am well aware of what it means but we don't know what Tina is capable of and if we get caught we can simply say that we got caught in the cross fires of the attack that occurred." he explained to her.
Gloria wasn't too thrilled with the idea of them running but another thing she didn't want to do was to end up dead at the hands of Tina. She didn't know what Tina had planned for them as punishment and the fact wad that she wasn't willing to find out.
"So we are really going to give up." She asked him and he nodded his head at her in response.
"That is what will be for the best. But for now before we do that we have to watch out for Tina. We have to keep an eye on her every move and ensure that she isn't planning her revenge plot."
Gloria agreed with Dick on that point and they decide that the best way for them to deal with Tina at that point was to make it seem as though she was never a threat at all.
They would simply have to while away the time until it was time for them to leave.
For the next few days the class carried on travelling through the forest. Dick didn't try to complain to Mr. ken any longer and he simply chose to avoid Tina entirely. Gloria wasn't as friendly towards Tina either as she had started to suspect her.
However neither of them made any right out protests. They decided that it was best for them and for everyone to keep things as civil as possible.
The other students on the other hand were simply glad for the fact that the internship was going so well for them. They didn't have to worry about themselves getting killed or terribly injured as they would have in small teams.
With them all being in one large team it meant that there were a lot more people, that would be able to protect them if something were to happen.
Because of the presence of Tina and Gloria the team had enough magic to defend themselves from almost any and all attacks that they were set to encounter.
It also meant that they didn't have to worry about getting attacked or even sabotaged by the other students around them. Because now it meant that they wouldn't want to sabotage themselves.
In essence the students had to ensure that they helped each to her rather than fought against each other which meant that the internship was much easier for everyone.
The students were still grateful to Tina. They saw her as the reason why everything was working out well for them.
Some of them even acquitted the smooth going of the internship to Tina's own efforts. They thought that it was because of her that Mr. ken had made the decision to unite the teams.
They thought that they were to be grateful to her for making everything that much easier for them. They believed that it was her own power of persuasion that had led to him having a change of heart as well as a change of mind.
Dick however wasn't as grateful to Tina. He was still cautious around her and he continued to watch her like a hawk.
