Juan's POV
"Wow, that's great news, Juan. I'm so happy for you," Matt exclaimed, his eyes bright with genuine joy.
"Why are you telling me this? I thought you hated me," Matt questioned, his brow furrowing in confusion.
"Well, I figured you're the only one I can tell," I explained. "We started off on the wrong foot, but that doesn't mean I hate you. Besides, you dated Nia for three years. I could use some advice from you," I admitted, hoping to bridge the gap between us.
"Have you told Nia about it?" Matt inquired, his concern evident in his voice.
"Not today," I replied, shaking my head. "She's way too happy today. I don't want to ruin her moment. Let her stay happy," I insisted, wanting to protect Nia from any unnecessary worry.
"No wonder she chose you," Matt remarked sincerely.
