Damon looked around. He felt like he was back in the past based on the architecture of the buildings.
"This place is amazing!" Damon exclaimed. He felt the peaceful aura the city radiated that urged him to laze around.
"Indeed! I am proud of my Nation and to our God!" Ignis beamed. She started walking and gestured for Damon to follow.
"God?" Damon asked. He wasn't surprised Tarynla had their own Gods to worship with, but he was curious about who they were.
"Yes, the God who saved Acedia from its fall," Ignis sighed in relief while looking above where a gigantic angel statue stood, overlooking the entire city.
"I would like to learn more about Acedia," Damon stated. He was determined to learn and adapt to the new world, which started with knowing its history.
"Sure! We can go to the library later, but we need to go back to the headquarters for now. I need to pass my reports as well," Ignis informed and held Damon's hand, dragging him with her.
The people around greeted Ignis with a smile on their faces, while looking oddly at Damon. He expected it; after all, he barely had any cover-up while dragging a sword bigger than him.
They arrived at a massive castle-like building made of bricks. Two knights were standing by the door, wearing an armor with a wind symbol in teal color on their chests plate.
"This is our headquarters!" Ignis exclaimed with a grin. She greeted her fellow knights before entering.
The hallway was massive, and there were many doors on each side.
Ignis knocked on one door before entering.
A woman was sitting at the center with tons of books and papers on each side of her table. She looked up tiredly with big bags under her eyes.
"Hi, Lady Saorsa. How's your day?" Ignis asked with a grin. She patted Damon's shoulder to show there was nothing to fear.
Saorsa knew it was Ignis based on how she knocked four times before entering.
"A bit busy, but I'm alright. How about you?" Saorsa glanced at Damon and raised an eyebrow, indirectly questioning Ignis where he found him.
"Well, I was patrolling as usual. I found this boy getting attacked by a small group of Pooka, so I helped him. His name is Damon," Ignis explained and slightly pushed Damon in front.
"Hello," Damon bowed his head a little to show respect.
"Hello, Damon. May I ask why you are being attacked by Pookas?" Saorsa asked in curiosity. Her eyes glanced toward Damon's appearance and the sword.
Damon pursed his lips and looked at Saorsa. "I need to hunt for meat," he replied softly.
Deep inside, Damon was nervous that his identity would be known, but at the same time, he couldn't help laughing at how he needed to act like a child.
"Damon's sister needs protein. That's why he's hunting for meat, but unfortunately, the forest is not safe for now," Ignis sighed. Everyone in the city, especially the meat business owners, struggled to hunt because of the surging camps of Pookas.
"I see," Saorsa nodded in understanding and faced Ignis. "I'll leave him in your hands. We have a vacant room he can use temporarily. Take care of him," she stated.
"Okay! Roger that!" Ignis grinned and saluted before dragging Damon to the hallway.
"Who is that?" Damon asked. He wanted to know what was Saorsa's position in the knights.
"Lady Saorsa is the Acting Grand Master for the Knights of Hippotades. She is a really good person," Ignis complimented with a hum.
They reached the vacant room on the first floor, and Ignis led Damon inside.
"I'll get a few clothes for you. Have a rest for a while," Ignis waved before closing the door and went to male knights to borrow some of their clothes.
Damon was left alone. He sighed and flopped on the bed, which was fluffy on his butt. He glanced at the Obsidian sword and wondered how to put it away since it was heavy to carry.
"Maybe I should try the inventory," Damon whispered, rubbing his chin. He clicked the icon but had no option to put it inside.
"Maya, how can I place the sword in my inventory?" Damon asked after he got tired of forcing the sword to get in.
[ Answer: Return the Obsidian Long Sword to where it belongs. ]
Damon gulped and looked down at his d1ck. He was already flabbergasted at pulling it from his private part, and now, he needed to put it back there.
"Are you telling me to stab myself?" Damon stated, but Maya didn't reply.
Damon's breath hitched thinking about it. If it went wrong, he would be bleeding to death. He removed the cloth from his hips and aimed the sword toward him.
Fear crept into Damon's feelings, and his eyes wavered, seeing he was about to stab himself.
"Well, it came inside my body. So I'm just returning it back. Nothing will happen to me unless Maya wants me to die…" Damon spoke those words to cheer himself, but the thought of Maya crossed his mind, and his confidence vanished.
Multiple scenarios appeared in Damon's thoughts, and he started doubting himself.
"Ah! F^ck this! I'm already dead!" Damon yelled before plunging the sword into his pelvis. His eyes were tightly shut as he did it, but he felt no pain, just a bit stuffy.
When Damon opened his eyes, the sword was no longer there, and he had no wound. He sighed in relief and lay in bed naked, completely forgetting that Ignis would return.
After two minutes, a knock was heard, followed by an abrupt opening.
Damon's reflex hurriedly covered his private part with a pillow before Ignis went in.
"Damon. I have some clothes from the male knights. They're a bit big, but it will fit you," Ignis stated, handing Damon a shirt and shorts. She frowned upon seeing the cloth covering his private parts on the floor while he used a pillow instead.
