Damon felt himself floating; it was light and airy, as if he was cuddled to sleep. A warm embrace made him snuggle to the fluffy place where his head rested.
"This is nice," Damon whispered in bliss. He reached upward and squeezed the soft, plump thing with his hand.
"Glad you're awake now," a seductive voice spoke, which made Damon open his eyes.
The first thing Damon saw was a pair of pink-colored eyes staring down at him. He panicked and immediately jumped away but fell from the high throne.
"Who are you!?" Damon shouted while crawling backwards like a cockroach.
"Ah~ You're so silly. I should introduce myself then," the woman stated softly. She leaned on her knuckles and crossed her legs while watching Damon's terrified eyes.
Damon was stunned at the beauty before him. The woman wore almost nothing but simple heart stickers covering her n1pples and p^ssy. She had long, voluminous white hair cascading down her body, but the woman's visible heart caught Damon's attention the most.
"I am the Goddess of Love, Wyverna," she stated with a smile of pride. Her voice tuned seductively.
Damon's mouth hung open as he remembered about Maya and how he was kicked inside the portal, but he was still hesitant to believe it.
"This must be another dream. I'm not that special to meet a beautiful Goddess," Damon sighed as he lay on the floor, planning to go back to sleep when he felt a painful kick on his back.
"You're so disrespectful!" Maya shouted and pinched Damon's ears to wake him up.
"Ow! Ow! I'm awake!" Damon yelled and pulled himself away. He glanced at the Goddess, who was smiling at them.
"Stop that now, Maya. We don't want our Hero to be in pain before his journey," Wyverna said while gesturing for Maya to step aside.
"Yes, My Goddess," Maya replied with a bow before stepping around. She glared at Damon as a warning before settling back.
"Well, let's continue. I believed Maya already told you about being a Chosen summon after death," Wyverna stated to clarify. She squinted her eyes to see any reaction on Damon's face.
"I guess," Damon replied and looked sideways. Even though Wyverna was a beauty with a good physique, he couldn't help but get uncomfortable with how her heart pumped blood. He focused his attention on his surroundings instead.
The place was shrouded by white clouds, and they were standing on a circular mirror surface that reflected their reflection.
"Hmm, then I will be direct," Wyverna said before flicking her fingers. The clouds turned pink, and it rained with floating words.
"These are the abilities you can choose before I send you to another world. Please pick one best suited for you," Wyverna added, gesturing for Damon to proceed.
"Can I pick anything?" Damon asked with excitement. He never expected to have an ability similar to the books he had read before.
"Yes, but only one. So choose wisely," Wyverna replied while scanning the screen before her.
"You should choose something like a boost of powers!" Maya yelled with excitement. She looked at the set of talents, and she favored them all.
Damon was silent. His attention shifted to a question.
"Before I choose a talent. Can I ask where I will be summoned and what kind of place it is?" Damon asked seriously. He thought back to his pathetic life on Earth, and being reborn again was a rare opportunity to come by, and he didn't want to waste it.
"Interesting that you've thought of that," Wyverna raised an eyebrow as her interest peaked. She deemed Damon as someone who couldn't live long, just like the other summons after sending them to another world.
"I want to rewrite my life story, and this is a chance for me to do it," Damon replied sternly. He was determined to transform himself and pursue his dreams that he thought were impossible to achieve.
Wyverna stared at Damon silently. She stood up from her throne and strutted toward Damon. Her eyes looked at his stature and saw deep into his soul.
"You will be sent to one of the nations in Tarynla. As for the rest, you will discover it on your own," Wyverna smirked. She wanted to see how well Damon would do. After all, he was her new entertainment.
"Huh!? How can I survive if I have no information!? I need details of everything," Damon exclaimed furiously. He expected to receive several tips and instructions as a guide for him not to be a complete stranger in an unknown world.
"Haha~! Where's the fun in that?" Wyverna laughed amusingly. From all other summonses she had welcomed before, they only wanted vast wealth and power to go by, but Damon wanted information instead.
"Tsk, at least tell me my purpose. I'm a summon, so there's a reason why I'm sent there in the first place, right?" Damon flicked his tongue in annoyance. He sensed there was something more than just a summon by the Goddess.
Wyverna remained silent while watching Damon having a mental breakdown.
Damon sighed in defeat after noticing the Goddess had no intention of giving him a little help. He stared at the talents above him and saw one unique compared to the others.
"I choose that one as my ability!" Damon pointed at the talent with no hesitation.
"Ehh! Are you crazy!? That's the most useless talent out there!" Maya whined in disappointment. She expected Damon to choose something that would attract attention from the public as a powerful summon.
"You amazed me, Damon, haha~!" Wyverna giggled, standing before Damon. She towered over him like a giant and needed to lean down to face him. "With that, I will reward you since you made me laugh," she added.
Wyverna put her hand on Damon's head and gave him a blessing. It was the first time she had done it to a mere summon, but that made her excited for his journey.
"You didn't answer my question about my purpose in Tarynla," Damon said, as he still couldn't comprehend the Goddess's intentions.
Damon had read and watched stories about a summon, and they were always deemed as a Hero to kill anything that invaded the Kingdom that called them.
"Do whatever you want in Tarynla," Wyverna replied and stepped back. She returned to her throne with a satisfied grin.
"You don't seem to care at all," Damon expressed in suspicion. He squinted his eyes while trying to understand Wyverna's wordplay on him.
"Well, let's say you're not the first one to go in Tarynla, and it's a struggling world after chaos befalls its people," Wyverna smiled sadly after remembering the past. It was also hard on her part, and she could easily overlook Tarynla, but her heart yearned for its peace.
"Wait, you're saying that I'm summoned here and be placed in Tarynla, which is a world post-apocalypse, and I'm not the first one to be sent there. What happened to the others!?" Damon exclaimed as he put the pieces together.
"Hmm, one was summoned before the war to prevent the chaos from happening but failed. The other was sent during the war, and as for you, you will live after the war," Wyverna explained with a tight smile. She leaned back with a sigh. "Lucky for you, Damon. There's nothing to do there… for now," she added with a shrug.
"For now!? Are you serious?" Damon gasped in disbelief. He stayed silent for a few seconds while processing every information he had received.
"Are the other summons still alive?" Damon asked, hoping to receive a decent answer.
"They're dead, of course! haha!" Wyverna replied while giggling. She found Damon's questions absurd.
Damon was dumbfounded. He staggered backwards, seeing his fate turning the same as the other summons before him.
"It's time for you to start your journey, Damon. Maya's spirit will be accompanying you. Good luck," Wyverna declared. She raised her palm and created a portal before Damon.
Maya went beside Damon with a wry smile. Her body transformed into a cloud of smoke before entering his body, creating a thorned heart mark in his chest as a symbol.
"Wait, I'm not done yet!" Damon shouted in panic. He wasn't ready to face another world without preparing himself, but Wyverna didn't care.
"Tehee," Wyverna stuck her tongue out before pushing the portal into Damon, who began running away in fear. She sent him to Tarynla in a second with a single flick of a finger.
Wyverna watched as Damon disappeared before him. Silence surrounded the area, and the smile on her lips vanished.
"Welcome back, Damon. I hope this time, you will reclaim what's yours and pay for your sins," Wyverna whispered as she slumped into her throne. Her body slowly turned into a block of stone.
