Violet's head trembled with pain. Ever since they entered the North Mountains, she heard something buzzing in her ears which later grew stronger than the whistling of the wind.
The landscape was white and as they ascended higher, more fog and mists appeared. Her memory became murky and soon she lost touch with reality. By the time she was no longer able to notice the cold, something warm and fluffy enveloped her.
It was like she was carried away by the furry cloud.
She slowly opened her eyes and got used to the tunnel-like view. Her bottom was numb from sitting on the hard ground for too long, but her back was touching something warm and comfortable.
