Even with the additional baggage, Cassiel didn't slow down at all. He carried her effortlessly to the hut, surprising even the herb collector who was used to the adverse mountain.
They arrived at the hut in less than 20 minutes, and she was surprised to find the sturdy building made from stone, rather than some dilapidated wooden cottage. The inside of the house was spacious enough to fit three rooms, one of them was the central space where the kitchen was located.
"Wow, how did you build this in the middle of the second level?" Violet was honestly amazed.
"The North Mountains wasn't always inhospitable as it is now. Many years ago, before the blizzards hit the territory every day, it was a normal mountain just like the one you can find around the kingdom. People used to live here and some of the buildings are still intact," the elder explained.
