The look on Casindra's face was priceless. Athena wished she could frame it up on the wall to admire for eternity. But she didn't expect Darrion to turn back to her. He was walking up to her.
Athena remained still. She didn't know what to expect. But as she stole a glance at Casindra, whose face was red with anger, she enjoyed every bit of the moment. He came up to her with a smile on his face.
He kissed the back of her hand, said his farewells and then left.
Athena felt her heart skip a beat. A big smile formed on her face when she noticed Casindra was fuming.
Pretending not to notice, Athena returned to the matter at hand.
"So what would you both like to discuss?"
"You better get this attitude of yours in check for the party," Queen Catalina said as she glanced over at Athena.
"I will keep that in mind," Athena replied with a smile, "What else?"
