Just as Alison was about to close the door, Kris changed his mind.
His expression suddenly turned serious from the perfect smile that was almost always plastered on his face.
"Stop.", he said and Alison nodded before taking a few steps back, letting him get out of the capsule. She saw him close his eyes the moment he came out and for a minute or two, he didn't move.
"This... Tell me how much of my power I'll lose when I get there.", he asked as he opened his eyes with a frown. It was an expression that Alison had never seen on his face but since he had asked a question, she pushed herself from getting distracted and answered him.
