Alison looked at the two women she had tied up and placed the dagger back into her robes before looking at Jasmine. She couldn't afford to break up the relationship between her organization and Larcen so she did not want to risk angering his companion either.
Letting out a sigh, she sat down beside Jasmine and leaned against the wall before speaking.
"You see, Isabella is an outsider even in our organization. She's skilled but isn't allowed in the inner circles due to a few reasons. Anyway, what I'd like to say is that I can't force her to sign the contract when she doesn't want to. I am not her superior so I cannot order her around.
She was deployed here to save the humans of this planet and that's the only thing she wants to do here. In other words, she works like a mercenary and people like me don't have the authority to force her to sign contracts as it isn't included in her commission."
