Alex sat beside Larcen and idled away by playing with the water bottles and energy bars that were left behind by the others until night fell. He had a pistol right behind him that he had gotten from Bull's corpse.
There was salt residue on his face that started from his eyes and went down to his cheeks before fading away. He felt his stomach rumble and stared at the energy bars longingly but did not open the wrappers as he wanted to save as much as possible.
He picked up all the energy bars and placed them all behind Larcen and walked out warily. He could see a small group of people cooking food on a fire but hesitated to go there. They were all people who had stolen things from him when he was in the mall and he did not want to go near them.
