One whole day had passed as they took shelter in the nearby shops that weren't too broken. Anna, Bull, and a few others sat inside one of the shops with Larcen placed in the corner. He had not woken up for the whole day but he showed signs of life as he was breathing and they could feel his pulse too.
They had tried sprinkling his face with water but he did not show signs of waking up so all they could do was give up and wait for him to wake up by himself. All of them had a few energy bars and water bottles in front of them as they leaned against the wall and waited patiently.
They had collectively decided to not go out to fight the monsters as they had lost a lot of people during the collapse and most of them were from the original hunting squad. They weren't able to escape in time as they all lived on the first or second floor and were too late to react to the tremors.
