A bunch of zombies made their way towards the wall of the musuem, where a man stood straight while clutching a broadsword with a grin on his face.
Arthur started walking forward, not allowing the zombies to completely surround him.
He first ran to the right side and moved ahead, clashing with the zombies.
Before the zombies could even attack him, a silver shine of light passed through their necks, making their bodies fall down onto the road.
There were more than ten zombies in his vicinity, but all of them were separated by a small distance from each other making it quite easy for him to take their lives.
Arthur moved and jumped about on the road, one by one separating the necks of the zombies.
He made sure to not make much noise while fighting so as to prevent a crowd of zombies from forming around him.
Instead, he moved swiftly and silently, killing all the zombies around him.
A few minutes later, there were no other zombies remaining in the street that he was on.
He could see a couple of zombies on the edge of the street, which was the border with another street, but he decided to kill them a bit later.
Flicking off the blood that covered the sword, he smiled in happiness while looking at it.
"Bloody hell this sword is a lot better than I expected."
Staring at it, he couldn't find a single damage on it after killing about fifteen zombies.
The previous rust seemed to have glued the blood of the zombies on it as it looked a bit demonic and savage.
Ignoring it's dark look, Arthur truly felt it was an overhaul obtaining the broadsword.
Turning his head, he stared around at the several corpses of the zombies and kept back the sword in its scabbard.
Getting back to work, he took out a jeweled dagged which looked like it was made from gold, diamonds and several another gems, and bent down to dig out the mana stones from the inside of the zombies.
He had chosen to take this dagger with him because it looked cool and expensive to him.
But what he didn't knew was that the dagger he looted was one of the most prized antique of the wallace collection that had a value of millions.
After some time, he had collected all the mana stones of the dead zombies.
Getting up from the ground, he stretched his body and felt his stomach growling in hunger.
"Ugh its lunch time already? I didn't have that good of a breakfast today, so I'm feeling extra hungry right now...."
Arthur gazed around the streets and thought of what to do with lunch.
"There's nothing left at home, so my only option is to find food somewhere in an convenience store or something....."
Muttering, he turned to check the both sides of the street before choosing a random way and walking over there.
He continued killing zombies that he encountered on the way with a swing of his sword and searched throughout the streets for a nice store.
Entering another street, he finally saw a board of a grocery store a bit away from him.
"That store looks good."
This place was mostly a residential area, so except for some few store here and there, there weren't any restaurant from which he could have a satisfying lunch.
And even if there were any restaurants present around, he wouldn't expect the zombified chefs to cook him a meal.
Arthur reached near the grocery store and saw that it was looked from the outside with its shutter closed.
Taking out a small weapon which looked like a hammer that he had looted from the museum, he held it and pulled back his hand before hitting the lock of the shutter with it.
"Crack!"
It took only one hit for the lock to break.
Tossing the broken lock away, he pulled the shutter about halfway up and entered inside.
"Wow isn't that the most expensive white bread!"
He exclaimed looking at the treasured bread that was kept up high in a locker and cost about ten times more than normal bread.
While Arthur was busy eating the expensive bread he looted by breaking the locker and looking around the grocery for food, a group of people from across the street in a building watched him strangely.
The building had its own compound walls unlike the other buildings whose doors directly led people out to the streets.
It could be seen that the security of the building was a lot better than the other buildings looking at the tall walls and the heavy metal gate not allowing anyone entry inside.
On the highest floor of the building, that was something like a lounge for the residents, and a group of people could be seen sitting around anxiously.
Some of them were rubbing their stomachs while some of them were biting their nails.
And occasionally there would be a growling noise coming from their tummies, exposing the reason for their anxiousness.
A tall man wearing formal shirt and pants with glasses on his face sighed and stood up from the chair he was sitting on.
"This is getting ridiculous. How long are we going to stay trapped inside here without eating a loaf of bread for the whole day?"
He shouted with a frown on his serious face as he turned to stare at all the people gathered there.
Not all of the residents of the building were gathered here as some of them liked their own privacy and had stayed back in their rooms.
But the people who had gathered here were the ones who had emptied their rations and were thinking of how to get more food to fill their hungry stomachs.
At the tall man's question, a middle-aged man puffing out smoke from his cigarette while sitting in the corner of the lounge cracked a smile and replied.
"And what do you expect us to do? Search for food outside of the building?"
The tall man squinted his eyes and nodded slowly.
"Umm yes we can go out to the streets and try looking for food in some stores out there.", he said trying to convince them.
The middle aged man shook his head while retaining his smile and said.
"Robert, do you have a death wish or something. Can't you see those monsters roaming about the streets likewise searching for food? And unlike bread they're looking for us to eat....."
A shiver went down Robert's spine when he heard the middle aged man's last words.
He had just thought of going out with the group to search for food but when the man reminded him of the zombies and what they could do, he immediately rejected that idea.
While the people were sighing in hopelessness and thinking when they were going to have some food to full their empty stomachs, they heard a man standing near to the window shout in excitement.
"Look look there's a human there!"
