With the help of a grappling gun, Seth and Alice could quickly return to the hotel building without having to use the emergency stairs and walk as usual. They entered a previously used room for Alice to hide in, something Seth could never have imagined.
The room's location was two rooms ahead of the room where Arcada's leader was killed. This made the room location point directly to the city landscape, with streets and towering buildings typical of New York City.
"So, they didn't know you lived here all this time?" Seth asked.
"They know," said Alice, putting her bag away in the corner of the room, close to Seth's.
"So?" asked Seth, turning around to look at the woman sitting on the edge of the bed.
"I joined Arcada right when I was seeking shelter," Alice replied.
"I helped them collect shards of life from the bodies of the cockroach monsters, although it was quite disgusting to see them crawling over the walls," Alice continued.
