Chapter 35 - A Trade

The bad thing about Olivia was that she could not lie without sounding like she was lying. However, the good thing about her is that Olivia had a perpetual look of ditziness that made it easy for her to lie.

As long as she didn't speak.

Olivia just tilted her head to the side like a confused puppy, laughing wearily. She knew her weakness and strength, so she knew how to utilize the latter to counter the former. 

But surprisingly (or perhaps 𝘯𝘰𝘵), Kat hummed and seemed unconvinced by her actions. But thankfully, she shrugged her shoulders and decided to let it go.

Olivia internally sighed in relief. 

Even though they were friends (or was it too early to label their relationship as such), Olivia still wasn't sure if she could tell Kat about her being an inter-dimensional traveler.

Well, even if she did, Kat might not believe her in the first place.
